Rick Dees Christmas Special 12/21/13

Once again, here is this year's list of Rick's Christmas countdown. As usual, it's pretty much the same list as last year, though there are four new songs that have joined this year's chart and are highlighted. The "droppers" from last year's chart are listed below. If there were Bonus Tracks, well, I'm not really going to bother to listen to them. :) And yes, DJ Sammy remains parked at #2 again this year with their "Christmas" song "Heaven".

Am looking forward to Rick's ultimate "dartboard" year-end "hybrid" chart next week. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! :)

That's true. Bryan Adams recording one of the greatest "Christmas" songs of all time!

How in the world is "Heaven" considered a Christmas song? I can't help but scratch my head at that one. If I had a nickel for every time I questioned the logic of Rick Dees' chart, I could, probably, retire. Speaking of which, as always, I look forward to seeing the year-end chart if only for the train wreck factor. It's supposed to be a hybrid of Pop and Hot AC and it has, consistently, done a poor job of representing the best of both formats. It's always good for a laugh, though.
