So...just when I was like "Eh, I'm over Bruno and this album, he is the safe choice for AOTY, blah blah blah", he delivers one of the best specials I have EVER seen. Honestly, I am SO mad at myself for not being aware when that special was being filmed because the Apollo is a 15 min walk from my apartment and just the thought of seeing him on the streets, driving around, passing out tickets, at fucking SYLVIA'S for Pete's sake, etc. Unbelievable. I LOVED his interaction with the locals. He came across so damn lovable and genuine. People that got to see that show in person are extremely blessed. I could not look away from the screen for a second. I thought it was funny how, in Uptown Funk, he glossed over the shoutout to Harlem. I figured he would stop the song for that part LOL. Hell, I damn near scream that line every time it's played. Anyway, he can win the AOTY now and I wouldn't even care. After that special, my money is on him.

Has there been any word on this other than from this station in Australia? I noticed it pulled in 6 Urban AC adds out of nowhere yesterday and have been wondering if it's getting an official push. Chunky went for adds in Austrialia this wk, and sereval stations in UK say it's coming next. No official push here... yet, and those adds were triggered by Grammy noms/CBS Special. anf him owning one award show after another despite being in Latin America. Hmm... maybe he just wants to keep it lowkey as much as he can.....till the Grammys. Christmas Freeze is coming, so... An entire concert? And the only song he didn't do was TGTSG? f**k him! And I mean that from the bottom of my heart! Let the man live. It was a 43min special. He still included almost entitre album, Uptown Funk....and trew a lil bone for all his Unorthodox Jukebox lovers out there w/ that silky Treasure acapella. TGTSG is a struggle for him both emotionally and vocally. Please lordt let this happen. I just can't with them... Since 2011 they've been praising each other. ...in 2017 they openly say they wanna work together. ...in 2021 they're gonna collab. I wonder if can win an Emmy for this? ...the Emmys are keeping an eye on him, that's for sure . Bob Marley Tribute was nominated, his SB48 Halftime was nominated. Even UF performance on Ellen was nominated for Daytime Emmy. So if the award shows that used to pay him dust dust now shower him with trophies so maybe even an Emmy would land on his lab. The reviews are stellar as usual.

Skillex got all excited and played it for some dj's. ...but Bruno decided it wasn't ready. He worked with Missy, Big Sean and B. & Janet are very vocal about collaborating. It's OOC for both. Rumor has it's a soundtrack song. If that's the case he comes back to his debut era rollout. 3 singles, paying dust obvious single options... It Will Rain. It's not a new album...if we believe in what he says... |

Curious about what he's planning to release. A new single isn't the worst idea, as I don't think anything left on the album can live up to the title-track's success, let alone touch TWIL's.

Indeed, the crooner is still riding the wave of success from last year’s ’24k Magic’ album – and in a major way.
Renown aggregate Pollstar have released their year-end totals and its revealed Mars’ ’24k Magic Tour’ to be the highest grossing solo trek of any act.
Having commanded a colossal $200.1 million (and counting) at the box office, the 32-year-old is only bested by U2, Guns N’ Roses, and Coldplay on the count. Here’s how his numbers stack up:

Average ticket price: $98.57
Average tickets per venue: 22,066
Total tickets: 2,030,029
Average gross per show $2,175,000
And the slay doesn’t stop there, because Mars will continue playing shows internationally right through to Summer 2018 when he’ll round off with a stadium run in Europe*.
The sheer scale of the tour highlights why Bruno is yielding the results he’s yielding.
