i wish he would have done some side projects like he did between his first and second era. Do you mean soundtracks songs and several features? - Hmm... Boyz II Men has said a long time ago that Bruno will be featured on their next album, but they didn't repeated it ever since although their album's gonna be released in late September. - Rumor has it Bruno might be featured on Mark Ronson's 4th album no release date was announced yet. - Actually, Bruno did a track for Rio 2, some even think it was he's best vocal performance to date, but the fact that it's only 1:08 doesn't make things easier. BUT,during his most recent #askthedragon (chat w/ fans on twitter), he pretty much confirmed he doesn't have any plans to do collaborations with others, or include some features on his 3rd album. It seems that he's comfortable enough to just take his time with his next album. Well, I don't blame him... He menage to score another Multiple Platinum album in the US that outsold his debut wordwide. He achieved it all with an album he admitted is top to bottom all about sex that music industry predicted to flop before it got released.

To be quite honest, it'll be several months ONLY if we get really lucky, imo. It took him 8 months to record a follow-up to Doo-Wops & Hooligans: listenable, but an extremely cheesy pop record... With his LP3 he has a way bigger shoes to feel... He seems pretty aware of that. ____________________ The rumor that his LP3 is gonna be more rock influenced has spread some time ago... But quite recently Bruno changed his image a little bit:

Apparently, Bruno's vocals are featured on this track. He collaborated w/ Justin Michael back in 2007/08 so it must be an old demo... But who the hell is DONNIE ROMELLO?

EPOCA INTERVIEW:
Son of a hula dancer and a percussionist, Bruno Mars did try to present in Brazil this year - was even reported that the singer would do shows in the country in October, but the Warner Music label that represents the artist in country denied the information. ”I tried to go to Brazil, but it did not work. Besides wanting to sing in the country, wanted to see the World Cup games, but unfortunately I could not,” he who introduced last week says the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival , ensuring that one program Welcome to Rio and São Paulo in the first half of 2015. What do you know about Brazilian music? When I sang in São Paulo, in 2012, the public began to sing a song I do not know. Was an English version of Ai, if i Pego , Michel Telo. After that, I like the work and research of the Telo. The classics, Gilberto Gil always pleases me and I also like all that makes Bebel Gilberto. I even think that by having the same surname, they were relatives. How do you deal with female attention?
With pleasure. I’m an artist who likes recognition. The Brazilian public is very warm and remember that women threw bras for me on stage. I do not remember seeing that anywhere in the world. Pleases me to know that they like my work. Prejudice suffered by their Latin roots?I was raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. My father is Puerto Rican nationality and my mother was Filipina. When I moved to Los Angeles right after high school, it was not easy to make new friends. But even that music helped me. Artistically speaking, I never felt prejudice. But the young people of that time did not deal very well with their different roots. How to overcome the death of his mother? That’s the kind of thing that is not overcome. But I would say that slowly, I’m restoring. That was what she wanted, she told me before she died. Always remember her smile and whenever I can, I dedicate myself to helping institutions that care for children who suffer from the same problem she had cerebral aneurysm.

Since Janet regularly emphazised that her family often spent holidays in Hawaii, sometimes I wondered whether the Jackson and the Hernandez families ever met. As far as I knew Hernandez were kinda public figures there due to their doo-wop gig so it was posible but not very likely... But apparently Bruno's father, Pete Hernandez met Michael Jackson himself back in the late 1970s... A few years ago, someone who worked one summer in the mid-70 Hawaiian Paradise Park, had one of his companions was one Peter Hernandez. Peter worked there full-time and at night used to do small concerts in which he played the bongos.
Peter said that his true passion was music, though his job there was to feed the birds and clean hundreds of cages.
A decade later, on October 8, 1985 born son, Peter Gene Hernandez, better known by his stage name Bruno Mars.
As a child, Bruno began to imitate, with great success, his idols Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson.
The strange thing is that I never said that, just before he was born, Michael himself had visited the Hawaiian Paradise Park and had met a worker who would be his father.WHAT A SMALL WORLD. :o

Bruno Mars: Here’s Why You Should Get Excited About His Third Album Now Instead of Later (X) A few years ago, if someone asked you if you knew Bruno Mars, you might have thought that they were absolutely crazy. You might have thought that they were pulling your leg, making up comical names to make you laugh.
However, it seems the name “Bruno Mars” is becoming more and more popular in different parts of the world with each passing day.
He sings. He dances. He acts. He plays the guitar and the piano beautifully. Is there anything Bruno Mars can’t do?
From his recent track record, it seems as if the one thing that Bruno Mars can’t do is release an album that doesn’t reach the US Billboard charts.
While it is true Bruno Mars has only released two studio albums, Doo-Wops & Hooligans (2010) and Unorthodox Jukebox (2012), both of those albums have been able to achieve success on a commercial level as well as with some of the toughest critics in the industry.
You probably have already read the reports that Bruno Mars has already started working on his third studio album. It seems if he is overdue for one – especially since Bruno Mars’ first two albums came two years apart.
However, since the release of Unorthodox Jukebox, Bruno has definitely been busy — acting (Rio 2, hosting Saturday Night Live), being chosen to perform during the Super Bowl halftime show alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers as well as having a successful tour (Moonshine Jungle Tour).
However, even though he has not spent very much time in the studio, you should still get excited now over Bruno Mars’ third studio album instead of waiting for it to come out.
Why?
1. His track record speaks for itself. His debut album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans, was certified double-platinum with more than 2.3 million units sold. If you think that is impressive, the fact that Unorthodox Jukebox has sold more than 6 million copies around the world since being released should blow you away!
2. Bruno Mars is an impressive songwriter. The choice is yours. Unlike many other performers and singers today, Bruno Mars does not depend on ghostwriters and other producers to come up with great songs for him. Bruno Mars writes his own songs. Keep in mind that he is the lyrical mastermind behind such hits as “Forget You” by Cee-Lo Green, so he has already proven that he can write hits well for himself and other people. There really is no reason to believe that anything would change on his third album – especially since he has already proven his skills on the first two.
3. Bruno Mars brings something brand new to the table. Within the world of R&B and pop music today, it is very hard to find someone with a unique sound and/or take on their music. Think about all of the songs that basically sound the same – even though they are recorded and released by different people. Bruno Mars has been able to stay ahead of the pact by sticking to his own flavor of music that just so happens to taste good to everyone else.
You might decide to deny Bruno Mars the respect he deserves – waiting for his new album to come out before you get excited. Or, you can pay close attention to the fact that Bruno has already proven himself and get excited about what he is going to do now.
The choice is yours.

Yeah, the Jukebox is a great LP. The best evidence of his musical growth from 2010-2012. Great, but not fantastic, imo… The’s still a room for improvement. But, to be honest I didn’t played it in full since June, because I figured that it makes me only more frustrated that he dropped this tight pop album almost 2yrs ago, and we didn’t get from him anything new from him since apart from Bubble Butt and that Rio 2 snippet… I just keep my fingers crossed that collab with M. Ronson is really around the corner.
