Bought the whole CD back when. Byegones and Acetate are my favorites. I still play them quite frequently. Justin Vernon does little wrong in the world of music.

'Byegones' is stunning. I honestly wasn't huge on Unmap. I appreciated the experimental thing they were going for, but I am glad they honed their craft and got it together perfectly for this one. Great from beginning to end.

Great idea for a new forum! A good chunk of music I listen to falls into this category now. Byegones is gorgeous. Same! I feel that it's a great way for us music fans to talk about music that might get lost in the shuffle in the General Artist Discussion section and for artists whose material wouldn't get much play or any play at all on radio stations. Folk/Indie is really popular right now, so I am definitely glad we have this board. I hope there are members who find new favorite artists from the threads we create. I have been listening to this album nonstop this week. I can listen to it front to back. Really in to 'Dancepack' recently. |
