I'm hoping the (perhaps unexpected) pop crossover success of Drunk In Love just means that XO can re-emerge after DIL's run. I think XO is one of her greatest songs ever... would be sad to see it not have a chance to shine.

"XO" is performing similarly to "Best Thing I Never had" at pop radio. None of the 4 singles cracked top 10 at the format, so even with the best material, she may not score big there.

It's totally anecdotal, but several friends who normally dislike Beyonce have told me they really love XO, so I feel like this still has potential, just perhaps with a better promo push for it in a couple months.

That's the same format were Check on It went #1 for several weeks. I think with the right song she can do it.

I'm really rooting for this song. AUSTIN MAHONE – Mmm Yeah f/Pitbull: 1.323
One of the best new songs this year, it peaked at #2 on itunes without a banner, I hope radio keeps playing it.

So with the Budweiser commercial going viral... could Let Her Go take the top spot this week? It's very possible. Even if the views from the video don't count (which they should, but the rules are so confusing, so who knows), just the commercial going viral has sent it skyrocketing on iTunes up to #3. This Sunday, the commercial will air to over 100 million people at the same time. It'll be fun.'s "We Are Young" all over again in digital sales.* *Well, not exactly. "We Are Young" was not a hit when it was used in a Super Bowl commercial. "Let Her Go" has been a hit for a while now, though it definitely hasn't peaked.

Not feeling all the love for Happy....and I find it annoying when a commercial song blows up, like, why didn't it get airplay before?? Well it was 3 weeks at number one in the UK and it was also selling well in other parts of Europe which is probably why the label decided to release it here in the US. I'm not sure they get the same commercials we get here so I don't know if it had anything to do with why it was so successful in Europe. But it was an indication it might sell here as well. The song is on the Despicable Me soundtrack which came and went here without fanfare so it was initially overlooked. In addition, Happy is an Oscar nominated song so it looks like other people don't consider it just a 'commercial song'.

There is also a huge Worldwide viral campaign that is tied to the video as well that is making this song gain traction.

"We Are Young" was not a hit when it was used in a Super Bowl commercial. "Let Her Go" has been a hit for a while now, though it definitely hasn't peaked. Did the streaming for the video (commercial) count for "Only Time"? Or was before the latest rule change for streaming? The Bud ad is over 1 minute and, I imagine, the majority of the streams are US based. I can only imagine the immediate sales boost LHG will get today. I also think radio will pick up tomorrow morning as morning shows talk about the ad.
