Kind of weird to see now everything leaked. Judging by the running times all the tracks got reworked though. I'm shocked she included all of Body Shop, Holy Water and S.E.X., unless the vocals were re-recorded, those are nothing more than filler and tour interludes at best. The title track being the closer is a nice idea, but it does seem most of the Avicii tracks suffered the leaks, especially the ones with "art of freedom" theme. Remember they recorded 5 demos of each song. That's why it's taken her so long. We have no idea what these will sound like on the album.

Demos of Body Shop, Holy Water, S.E.X. and Iconic are weak....hopefully the final versions will be stronger, but the lyrical content of those tracks is cringe-worthy.

I doubt there are 5 versions of every song and some of the leaks weren't that different from the official versions, i.e. Devil Pray got a bit longer but Unapologetic Bitch was the same. At a second glance, the running times of Body Shop, Inside Out and Best Night match the leaked versions. The latter two were among the best for me alongside Heartbreak City so I'm glad these got included.

At what point do those who have held out start listening to the demos? I've restrained myself and have only heard RH and WAOM from the revealed tracklist. I'm thinking about listening to some that didn't make the cut, but rumors of a 25-track super-box-deluxe set imply that six more of the demos could still be released...

I literally think of this video every time I want to listen to the leaked tracks, like I'm a bad Madonna fan or something:

If you held out this long then I recommend listening to the rejected ones only after the album is out. Both RH and WAOM are different from the leaks (I read somewhere that WAOM was reworked by Kanye West) judging by the running times. I couldn't resist the leaks and now I'm feeling disappointed because I see Holy Water etc in the tracklist. As for the rumored 25-track box set, they might be just Living For Love remixes on the 2nd CD like the deluxe edition of Born This Way. There are talks about a 14 track version too, so that might be like the standard version of Born This Way, with 5 songs removed randomly from the tracklist? Kind of messy but both acts are on the same label so I can see this scenario happening...

I'm glad I haven't listened to any of the demos. Me,too. I've only listened to the six because she posted them on Itunes. The rest, I'll wait until they are on Itunes or the album comes outs, whichever comes first. ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

I haven't listened to the demos either. The talk of a super deluxe edition makes my heart melt. So grateful.

Rebel Hearts is definitely going to be the first non-compilation Madonna album that I buy! I love the six tracks released so far. The description of some of them being a perfect mix of old and new Madonna is spot-on!

Great to hear, Leigh. :) If you ever are going to look into past studio albums, I would recommend Like a Prayer and Ray of Light first and foremost. Most of them I'd recommend, of course, but those two are essential.

I can't believe she will feature Mike Tyson on a track; he is a convicted RAPIST and a violent man! What is wrong with her?! She is only 56, so we know she is not senile, but clueless as hell. First Gaga with R Kelly and now M with Tyson...what is with the rapists being featured with pop stars' who allegedly give voice to women? Who at Interscope is pulling this off? Madonna should be ashamed for this!

I will probably start with Ray of Light and Music I think. Whilst I LOVE her older stuff (Borderline will always be one of my all time favourite songs), I am keen to explore those two particular eras some more. I really liked her sound at that time.

It is irresponsible to feature individuals who have damaged somebody (via rape) for the rest of their lives. Madonna herself was raped in her early days in NYC, which makes this 'feature' on her Iconic track even more questionable. Maybe that track should be renamed to 'Ironic'. Privately you can do whatever you want, but to blatantly indirectly promote a rapist is irresponsible. I highly doubt Madonna was unaware of Tyson's rape conviction as it was national news back in early 90s. Whatever the case may be, artists should be mindful of what they are promoting (directly or indirectly).

Have you ever heard of a term called forgiveness? We are all human and make mistakes (and I am in no way trying to make light of what Tyson did), however, there does come a time when one must forgive to move on. Perhaps Madonna's inclusion of him on this particular song means that she is willing to forgive her rapist. Trying to portray Madonna as promoting rape is a little extreme, IMO.
Tyson was convicted and paid his dues in a federal prison. Madonna seems to have got past it, perhaps others should too.

You can forgive, but not forget and that is my point...she can forgive her rapist as she is in control of that....but she is not in control of how Tyson's inclusion may affect other rape victims. I am probably getting ahead of myself as I don't even know what he will say on her track and I am not saying she is promoting rape...but Tyson's inclusion deters her 'ideologies' (female empowerment, victim rights etc). I am just surprised she did not think this through, or if she was unaware of his rape proceedings, how come no one from her team informed her?
