God Bless some of those lambs riding the short bus and shading where there is no need to shade. Subpar shade at that. Always leave the shade to Mariah. She is a pro in that department. Looks like Faded is a potential single/highlight as it is prominently featured on that sticker. |

Interesting choice of singles. All new producers for her except Rodney Jerkins. And unless Faded is a ballad then only TAOLG and YME were there to tell people not to worry, there are ballads on the album.
So the Nas song will never see the light of day, no wonder she wants everyone to hear the whole album. There's probably so many good songs on there!

Very Interesting: For ages 25-64, GMA has won the ratings war with the Today Show for the past 92/95 weeks. However! The Today Show has led the ratings for the younger demo 18-49 years old for 45 weeks in a row! So Mariah chose the show that has the bigger younger audience, and yet she's NOT performing Thirsty? If she was gonna do ballads and come across old school with ABMB then why in the world wouldn't she do GMA?! Now I'm convinced she's gotta do Thirsty. Mariah must have a deal with NBC for this era; or maybe just a connection with someone? She had that 12 Days of Christmas thing in December, and now she's doing Today. Maybe we'll get some sort of NBC special, too? I can dream, anyway... |

I think she's good friends with nbc's network president. I remember her saying something about a new singing show she was working on as well. Could be on NBC.

Nick said they have a children's book coming out. I'd guess she's pushing some tv event for the 20 year anniversary of the album. (That movie musical she's been talking about for a decade now?)

Her original Xmas album....this year will be its 20th anniversary. There's been talk about her doing something special. EDIT: They need to re-release her 1st Xmas album in the U.S. with "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen". Why they left that masterpiece out initially is beyond me! Goosebumps! |

And, for that Target edition, does anyone know if that Def Jam sticker will actually be on the front cover?
