Excited about this new Dance mix and the "How Much" remix! If it's from that era, let's not forget Mariah wasn't playing with remixes back then.

I actually enjoy the Stargate edit of "Thank God I Found You." Not a massive fan of the album version. Also favourites of mine are "Hearbreaker," "Petals," and "How Much."

Rainbow’s remastered version has already replaced the original on streaming. The changes are so evident! Songs like CTTA, Petals, After Tonight and How Much all sound so much better!

Not necessary to tack on the live and club mixes that we already had, but this is still more than I anticipated!! Can’t wait.

Rainbow’s remastered version has already replaced the original on streaming. The changes are so evident! Songs like CTTA, Petals, After Tonight and How Much all sound so much better! Rainbow was easily her most poorly mixed (and whatever else) album, maybe because of the rush release. A lot of the production and vocals definitely sound muffled (on "AAO" it sounds like she's singing far away from the mic in parts). It was the album most in need of being remastered, so I will be happy to hear this album remastered. There is nothing truly surprising on this release like getting "My Prayer" and "Workin' Hard," but I am at least interested to hear "Rainbows End," the "How Much" remix, and I guess "TGIFY" solo. :ETA: Oh wow, the intro on "Heartbreaker" is different on the remastered version. The whistle note is gone, as is her spoken part.

It's really sad (yet predictable) that the tour footage was excluded from this celebration though. Rainbow Tour was a blast!

“Rainbows End” is just oozing with that Classic Philly Soul dance goodness. Just sublime. I’m so pleasantly surprised.

The new vocals and beat below. This would have been a hit in 99

"Rainbow's End" is great, so happy to see Mariah and David back together for another collab. And I definitely prefer the "How Much" remix to the original, never cared for the production on that one.

So is 'Rainbow's End' recent vocals, or 1999 vocals?

The How Much remix sounds sooo much better than the original. Love it. Rainbow’s End is fire. Love it! So cool to hear Mariah by herself on TGIFY! Love that she included There For Me, an all time fav of mine.
This release is just great. Love!!!

I love the Mariah only version of "Thank God I Found You," "There for Me," and the remix of "How Much," I am also quite grateful for the other remixes and live versions (even if we had heard them previously.) It's certainly more than what I was expecting.

So is 'Rainbow's End' recent vocals, or 1999 vocals? New vocals I'm sure they kept some of her 99 vocals but you can hear the main parts are new

This 25th anniversary (wtf, I remember coming home from school and watching "Heartbreaker" on TRL) package has great content for the Lambily, and that's all that matters. Seeing David Morales and Mariah collab on something new in 2024 alone makes this reissue worth it. While this album may be far from her best, it's still a perfectly worthy addition in her God-tier discography. It contains her most iconic album cover, one of her most fun, camp and recognizable 90s hits, multiple fan favorites/career best deep cuts, a handful of arguably her best remixes, the birth of Bianca, and some more unique aspects of her voice that are somewhat exclusive to Rainbow. This is all perfectly highlighted in this new expanded edition. Remix Queen has been feeling herself and serving 🔥 in 2024 with... 1. Yes, And? Remix 2. Made For Me Remix 3. Portrait Remix 4. Rainbow's End 5. How Much Remix This is keeping me content until the House disco album drops and we eventually get multi-part The Remixes II next year.

Sony should send the How Much remix to urban radio asap, it’s THAT good! What a surprise! I love the new Usher vocal at the start of the song. Well done Mariah!

I think stans always sort of knew it, but Mariah confirming "There For Me" was written for her fans is nice. That era is really when Mariah started leaning on the 'lambily' to get her through.
I still wish Usher had just a bit more to do on "How Much." At least give him the "and basically each day I need you more" line since it was really his turn there lmao. He's basically just a background singer on the song.

Rainbow was the first Mariah album (cd at the time) I ever bought, it will always hold a special place in her discography, so what a great moment is to finally have this album remastered (as it so badly needeed) and to rediscover all its songs. There's something about 99/00 Mariah that I've always loved, she had this carefree bubblegum personality that was SO late 90's/TRL era! Crazyboobrainbow Mariah is my favorite Mariah for sure.
25th Anniversary version highlights:
1. Rainbow's End. What a treat to have this interlude turned into a whole song 25 years later! Her current vocals sound strong and as good as ever. 2. How Much (Remix). Straight out of 99, the production has a bit of a latin feel, or am I crazy? I just love it and it feels current to me still. 3. There For Me. This song, when first released as a b-side, got a bit of a "meh" reaction from me, but after listening to it in its remastered version all these years later, the song feels like a whole different experience. 4. Bliss (A capella). Lord, this is heaven, her voice has never been more pleasant. It's ASMR worthy. 5. After Tonight (Remastered version). We all know how much Rainbow had its mastering problems when released and no songs suffered more from it than After Tonight. This remastered version elevates the song so much I'm listening melodies and riffs I've never noticed before, good job Mimi!

Loving “Rainbow25”!!! I always loved most of the album and still listened to most of it once in awhile. I didn’t even notice the bad mixing of it back in the day.. lol However I can hear the difference with some tracks with this release now. All the bonus material is such a treat. Loving the “Rainbow” remix! I find it very inspiring. I didn’t know there was a “Thank God I Found You” solo version. Score!! So happy to have “There For Me” to stream now. It’s always been a favorite of mine. The “How Much” remix is cute. I always liked the original though so this was great. The live version of “Can’t Take That Away” was unexpected. It’s one of my favorite Mimi ballads. I also like the duet with Westlife. “Against All Odds” has always been a favorite for me. I never got the import cd single back in the day. I’m also loving the club mix. I think I have it, but don’t remember liking it as much as I do now. The acapellas are amazing!!! This may be one of my favorite anniversary editions so far. Thank you Mimi!!!!

From my understanding “Rainbow’s End” is remixed, and the actual original version that was meant to be on Rainbow is still unreleased? I would really like to hear that to compare.
