Imagine having this banger on your album and releasing "Bye Bye" instead nnn I was expecting they'd release "Migrate" after "Touch My Body" because she performed it on SNL. It would have been amazing. Having said that, I actually like "Bye Bye." However, they should've released it to close the era not as the follow-up to a No.1 hit. I remember people were comparing it to "One Sweet Day" and how "Bye Bye" was a sure hit waiting to happen. Famous last words! |

I think she will probably release the new album after the holidays. The fact that we don’t have details this close to the holiday season suggests a 2025 release. I want new music, and I will take it whenever she wants to deliver, but it would be nice to have an era that doesn’t blend into the holiday season kind of how Caution panned out. Which may be smart given the number of ladies who released fantastic work this year. If she is trying for some award show recognition, it may do to avoid this year.

Queen of the holidays! Let freedom ring! Mariah's team really should work "Fourth of July" for the holiday, getting it on playlists and such. I don't understand why her team isn't on this type of thing. (Lana del Rey's "National Anthem" entered the Spotify top 200 for July 4, and the song is a relationship song lmao.) Friends. Shhh Mariah will be on tiny desk soon xoxoxo I'd love to see it, but you know Mariah is going to have full control over it if she does it lol. At least no performer really moves for those performances! I'm sure Mariah will do the predictable songs (We Belong Together, Always Be My Baby, Touch My Body), but maybe throw in one surprise. |

The thing about Tiny Desk is that it's always completely live so it'll be interesting to see the condition of her voice. She does better in intimate settings with live or minimal production..I think this will be good for her cause it's expected that she will not be putting on a big show and singing songs on their original form . Nothing harder than singing Mariah songs. SWV just did one and they barely sang. They had their background almost seven men and women behind them doing the heavy lifting lol and I love SWV and regardless nice hearing the songs |

It breaks my heart that she doesn’t like Someday. It’s my fav after WBT. It’s so sassy and so Mariah. I’ve never understood why she couldn’t redo it to the way she wanted it. Enough time has passed she could. Then there’s the New jack swing remixes that seem to be closer to the original that she intended. She’d scalp me if she ever released the ‘Ain’t To Proud To Beg’ remix from her GH vegas run.

I listen to the MTV Unplugged version of "Someday" since that's one she seems happy with. If it were possible to get the isolated vocals from her first 2-4 albums, I would love to hear her reproduce them to her liking.

 @ I Don't Know What Love Is. One of quite a few reasons Coco is iconic to me. I will probably be calling it that from now on. But, yeah, oddly enough, I don't hate it as much as I should. Then again, I think I am so much of a lamb that I don't HATE ANY Mariah song. There are some that I never need to hear again, but if I did, I wouldn't turn them off and I probably know all the words.
