I'm more interested if she was wearing candy panties or if Nick already ate them lol
But the remix video is better than the original. Nice to see Trey not look like he was just an afterthought

LOVE how staged that Instagram photo shoot was but I bought into them as a couple (of goofballs) and I still do. I REALLY like the song now, y'all. Shit is growing like wildfire.

Trey in a remix is completely pas necessaire The song is still pretty bad Itunes positions and video views clearly show what people think of it
But the fact that he is shirtless more ... Mmmmm
At some points I thought he would unzipp his pants and ... Damn I will touch myself tonight ;) Ok, will touch myself now Bye

A lot of people don't even know she put new music out. She is not someone like Lady Gaga who was smashing then DECLINING suddenly due to obvious bad quality of the materials she put out. IF they want this song to succeed. They have to do all their might to expose the song to as many people as possible.

Mariah has never been a digital seller she is from a different era. Kids aint sitting around waiting for the Mariah record so they can run download it. Mimi will have to rely on radio and promotion and grow sales in a steady way but what people think of #beautiful and You're Mine will show itself on May 6 when the album come out.

How can anyone NOT love the kookiness of this woman? Those pics are completely and utterly ridiculous, but at the same time, they are Mimi and she owns it like nobody's business. I mean, she has to be in on the joke to display images like that to the fans/public.

Point blank end of the day I'll take #Beautiful and You're Mine over what is considered downloadable music these days.
Times have changes me know dat but fact remains if she released these two songs 10 years ago she'd be flying up the chart and thrown glitter on. That's a reflection on the industry not her.

I miss down to earth Mariah. This over the top, ridiculous, caricature s**t is starting to grate my nerves. I hate to say it, but me too. I also hate that she has so much control over her career and brand. She's her own worst enemy.

If she is going to fail, I would rather she fail being ridiculous like she is in those pics. Her videos are better when she is being utterly ridiculous and injecting her personality into/not trying hard in them Touch My Body, Honey, Loverboy, Heartbreaker, Obsessed, Say Something, We Belong Together and The Roof. I mean hell give me Loverboy pin up girl over that bland picture of heart candies for a single cover at least it gets people talking.
For the life of me, I can't understand why someone like Mariah with so much personality makes some of the most boring videos. She needs to get over her narcissistic side(it ruins a lot of what she tries to do) and work with good directors/music producers and let them do their damn job.

And it is because I love her and been her fan for almost 20 years, I feel the need to critiSIZE her :) We, for most parts, who love her now ( or feel certain way) fell in love with her music and her persona 10 or more years ago for obvious reasons of her GREAT voice, songs, albums and herself... We loved Mariah being sexy in Honey or The Roof, but with and after Loverboy, she completely lost herself in boobies and legs everywhere!!! I guess she lost many of her fans or admirers also.

The music video has been revived, and putting out a video that actually generates interest could get her streaming points, generate sales, etc. She did it with "Touch My Body" and "Obsessed," so why are we getting a bunch of glamour shot videos now?

That is why I get so mad at her with these videos. I mean I know Mariah has never been a video artist, but she can and needs to change that now that streaming points count. Obsessed and Touch My Body are beautiful examples of her putting her personality into videos, and it coming across as natural and with great talking points. She needs all the help she can get to encourage radio to play her music and high streaming from video watching/high i-tunes sales because people liked the video helps encourage radio. I am starting to think she needed to kick this era off with a different song maybe something with a faster tempo/club banger that she could make for an interesting video. I admit the subject matter of You're Mine doesn't necessarily lend itself to an interesting video. However, those pics she just posted state otherwise. I think those would have made for a hilarious scene in a video for You're Mine.

I just want her to stand and deliver. It just seems like she's taking her career as a joke...it's fun for the fans, but once she start pulling that mess on TV around the general public there is a problem. How can you connect with an artist when they take everything as one big joke?
That's my issue. I feel 'disconnected' to her. I L-O-V-E that voice, that's the part of her that can NOT be denied but the rest...

Drake announced that Weezy's Carter V will be out on May 5th, which is the Monday before Mariah's release. I just hope she does not move her release date, I hope they're not looking for a #1 debut.

I'm not in love with this song but I think it's a grower for sure. And I hope it does well for her sake.
I'm disappointed with how she answered that Ariana Grande question in that one interview. She kind of did the same thing when people told her Leona Lewis was being compared to her a few years ago. It's fine if she doesn't like the comparisons, but can't she at least try to be complimentary to these younger girls who's singing is obviously inspired by her when asked about it?

I think if they rephrased it Mariah wouldn't have been inclined to answer the way she did. I think if they said Ariana is being compared to you as an artist, how do you feel about that then she might have given them a less snarky answer. Saying hey Ariana is being called a young Mariah how do you feel about that well I would have been inclined to answer the same way she did. It is all in the way you phrase a question. These questions are designed to bring out the inner b!tch. I think interviewers know too that given the right phasing on their part Mariah is the perfect candidate to give them a b!tchy comment.

I didn't think she was shading Ariana at all. She was simply stating she herself was still young. Did I miss something?

The TMB video was cue, but did it really generate sales? For a pretty decent-sized radio hit (120m+ BDS audience peak), its sales weren't too overwhelming. As for "Obsessed," the Eminem feud is what drove interest in the video.
It would be funny if they moved the release date yet again- at some point, you just gotta stick with what you announce. I mean, and what if Nicki Minaj announces the same release date, would they move it then?

Mariah avoids answering most interview questions directly anyway, which is frustrating to a lot of fans. The interviewer asks her one thing, and she answers however she wants to answer even if it means going off on a tangent unrelated to the question. Whenever interviewers ask her about other artists or ask her to give her take on a political issue or a controversial subject, she gives a non-answer. It's part of trying to keep a broad appeal and not alienate anyone. That's why you get these "I respect anyone trying to make it in this industry and hope they achieve longevity" responses when they ask her about younger acts. Beyoncé is the only younger act she's consistently gushed over for years and years (and not just gushing about some younger act right after she worked with them). Mariah was a great interviewee for maybe 3 years or so of her career, with the occasional fun moment here and there. Before she divorced Tommy, she would give very vague answers and her interviewers were basically only allowed to ask the same small set of questions approved by the label. I think every single interview included questions about her biracial background. Her interviews started to get fun around 1997, but after the whole Glitter fiasco and "Mariah is crazy" reaction, she toned her interviews way down again. She didn't have Tommy controlling her anymore, but she basically went back to doing what Tommy made her do which is basically go into these interviews with a bunch of talking points and try to make them fit the interview questions.

This late but she is so drunk and so funny in that radio.com interview.
"And she had worked in Africa and Costa Rica and in the rain forests and I was like hey, I can guess you can direct it." LOL.
