how's MIAM album sales after the tour? any increase? It was top 20 at iTunes in Singapore after that show. It has seen boosts elsewhere, too, but it's not like it has turned into a huge hit or anything. I'm hoping the Australia dates help it get certified there. It went top 5 in China when initially released and got a bit of a rebound with the tour. Is it not near a certification there? |

This is such a great performance of "My All" imo. Also, I'm posting it because for the first time in this tour Mariah's voice - how she opens up and plays with it - reminds me of how it was sounding on her CB tour and I really hoped she would get close to that level vocally. I haven't loved so much the way she did the "feel your body" part in a long time.
I hope the tour extends to Europe, Africa and the US with the new year. It would be a crime, now that she's hit her stride, if the OZ dates were the final ones.
My only complaint: the setlist needs a shake-up.

JESUS! That clip of her clear as a lake belting on "I'll Be There" and then her turning back the clock vocally on "My All" and her smooth as silk vocal on that jazzy number. All live, all full voiced and healthy.

That MY ALL clip is amazing.
I would love for Mariah to revisit some of her other #1's.

I'm like relishing in all these new clips. Her throat has warmed up it just need exercise! She has been on a break from singing outside the studio for a while and now she is back in full swing. Loving this real vocal slayage. Is it the 90s no, but it's very strong and puts most of these bitches to shame, still.
And you can tell bitch knows it, she is strutting around again and swaying her hips mid song again. Live in your moment, Mariah!!! bring this to TV, too btw.

You guys should also watch the "I'm That Chick" (where she sang in full voice and sounded amazing) as well as "Lullaby of Birdland" (where Queen Patricia's genes were in full gear) performances from the last stop. This is how the queen should be received everywhere she goes.. The Filipino lambs always go hard. Bless them! |
