Considering how well this tour is going and the great idea for the holiday show, this is the best she's been managed in awhile. She's doing great, then, though I thought Kevin Liles was helping her some.

I'm surprise no one here has posted this but Big Jim Wright for the last few days has posted a few tweets telling fans to help bring the Elusive Chanteuse Show to the US....which I find very interesting. I guess the label has nothing to do with this tour.

I can agree with apportioning some of the blame Mariah's way. I was just saying that most of the media tries to throw shade at her to an extreme where they really come at her hard when really all she is doing is being ridiculous or not even taking herself seriously. I mean does being an annoying goofball at times really warrant throwing her under the bus at times? If there is one thing I can't stand, is when people flip flop concerning her. You are fine with her music until it is deemed a flop and then it gets labeled a sh!t album. I really dislike when people talk about her personality or past work in reviews of her newer stuff. I am like can you actually do what you were paid to do and review her album rather than gossip about her. Yeah, I've always noticed a lot of that creeps into the reviews she gets from music critics. It's really strange, since they don't do it for a lot of other artists. Just grade the music, not Mariah. |

I am in S.C. and work until the 19th, but I really want to see her live. I never have, and she is in great voice. I can only go on the 20th, and I'd have to fly to New York and go alone. Hmmm....

I'm hoping the public onsale has some new ticket options, I really wanna go to the Dec 18th show and will book my hotel now if I can get the ticket together. Christmas time in New York and seeing Mariah in her current improving vocal state?! What a gift that would be!

We've already discussed it some, but Mariah's current vocal state on tour just shows how a lot of her vocal "decline" is really more about her not keeping in vocal shape. Once she gets on tours and starts using her vocal cords regularly and doing things to take care of her voice, her voice comes alive again.

The band has been really on point this tour. This clip and the previous ones for "Thirsty" show that some of the songs fans groan about Mariah performing can actually be epic when performed with a strong band:
