I LOVE Mariah's lower register. IDWC and Melt Away are amazing examples, as are the verses of Oh Holy Night-- and she showed that it is still absolutely divine after all these years at the Beacon shows.

Mariah's lower register is just as impressive as her high notes. Very few female singers can sing as low as Mariah. I remember when Daydream dropped, many reviewers thought "Melt Away" was a duet with Babyface. She sings "Against All Odds" in Phil Collins' key, and of course she sang "You And I" at the Stevie Wonder tribute in his key.
