I'm genuinely shocked. I honestly had low expectations for the show. But, this show is turning out to be the best show she's ever done. Heck, the best Vegas show in the past decade! Go Mimi!

Not as impressed with the voice as all the hype was leading me to believe. Haven't watched the clips posted here, but saw the full VOL and it was pretty bad.

Ok, maybe that was the worst of the night. Cause she sounds better in almost everything else. But, looks like that Fantasy verse is lipped cause it's exactly the same as Monday night. And DFAU climax is the album version.

Take a note before singing IDWC, she said "It's not so easy now" She pointed out that she was still a teenager when she wrote the song. She didn't want to hide that she disliked the song. She's so honest, like she's "forced" to sing this song because it's one of her #1s.
But she slayed IDWC especially the climax!

She sounded best last night on the songs that utilized her lower register more. Usually the upper register improves as she performs more and more.
I'm surprised she opted to perform "Someday" so close to the album version in style when she opted for the unplugged version for the new compilation.

The vocals are still rough tho. Shes using the backing tracks on the same places as she did on the Asian tour but Im sure this will get better as the residency progresses

Oddly enough, "Vision of Love", often her strongest 90s song vocally, was her weakest last night. Clearly, "I Don't Wanna Cry" was her strongest... for so many reasons. I got chills, SOOO good!!! Overall, she is definitely sounding as strong as she ever has since the 90s. I'm sure as she gets later into the residency, her voice will get stronger. This is an amazing start, though, and I hope they take advantage of this and release a DVD and do a TV special; the world needs to see this!

Just listened to Glitter for the first time... what kind of BOP is "Didn't Mean To Turn You On?"
And those live vocals are sounding pretty great!! Trying not to watch too much because I definitely want to see her live.
