"Jubel" Written by: CΓ©dric Steinmyller and Edgar Catry Produced by: Klingande "Jubel" is a song from French deep house duo Klingande, whose members are CΓ©dric Steinmyller and Edgar Catry. The track was released as a single late last year, climbing atop in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Switzerland so far. According to this article, there's already a growing buzz for the track in the UK, where it has reached the Shazam pre-release top 20 before it's officially out there. Music Video:β’ Watch an alternate link for the music video here. β’ Listen to the original mix here. Available for pre-order in the UK. Out on May 25.

:"Jubel" chart run on Slizzard's Top 100: plz do the same in the UK (and the rest of the world) I also want the same longevity, but do you really think it's going to debut at #4 and then, reach atop? Nah! I hope it goes straight to #1.
Regarding the buzz in the UK, BBC Radio 1 already jump on the track and they even play some remixes of it, according to this. I expect it could be added on the BBC Radio 1 playlist soon.

Finally, some promo from them for the UK!
As you could see, "Jubel" is out now in the US and it's distribuited by Ultra Records there. It includes the original mix of the song, along "Punga". A massive YES!!! Also, Ultra Music has uploaded the music video on their YouTube channel From Ultra Music's Facebook:

It actually was out in the US before. This is the original release, consisting of "Jubel" & "Punga" and released in April 2013 with the original cover, and "β 2013 Klingande" is listed which I presume means it was independently released. It's been gradually replaced with gradually replaced on various countries' iTunes stores over time as the song picked up traction and they got signed/distribution rights or whatever. This release is on iTunes in Germany/Austria/Switzerland consisting of both edits of "Jubel", released in September 2013 with the blue cover and "under exclusive license to B1M1 Recordings, Lda". The same thing was also released physically in October. Germany/Austria/Switzerland also have this EP released in November with the details you can see there. France is similar with a single and an EP released in August and November respectively, but slightly different tracklistings (only the original mix on the single and the EP tracks reordered) and only "β 2013 Klingande Music". Spain and Portugal have 2 releases from January 2014: a single with the radio edit (under "β 2013 Klingande Music") and an EP with a slightly different tracklist again, with "β of this edition 2013 Sony Music Entertainment Spain, S.L. under licensor's exclusive license Klingande Music" written. Belgium has just this EP with "under exclusive licence to 541 / N.E.W.S.", the Netherlands has just a 1-track single of the radio edit with "β 2013 2013 SpinninRecords.com" and a different cover to the main 3 in the OP, and Luxembourg has the same as the US. Italy has a 2-track like the Germany one and an EP like the Spain one but both released by "Ego / Vae Victis S.r.l." and the latter is called "Klingande EP" instead. (Ego Music Italy also have a physical release out with the same tracks as the Germany and France EPs albeit yet again re-ordered; I believe that and the 2-track Germany single are the only physical releases [well "only" is in comparison to the massive amount of digital releases]. [I've actually been looking to buy that one but it keeps being out of stock and twice now I've seen it in stock but haven't been quick enough, lol.]) There's also Denmark/Norway/Sweden/Finland which all have just a 1-track of the radio edit (which would be the same as the Spain one except it's "Jubel - Single" not "Jubel (Radio Edit) - Single"), and of course the UK/Ireland pre-orders under "exclusive license to Warner Music UK Ltd.": the 1-track that's been up for months which I presume is the radio edit (no lengths listed on either) and the EP I noticed earlier today which has what I presume to be the original mix of "Jubel" plus 3 remixes that aren't out elsewhere, excitingly including the Nora En Pure remix (I listened to it a while ago and hated that I couldn't get it anywhere [and the stream was tagged anyway if I recall correctly]), and Canada and Mexico have the same as the US Ultra Records release ( link since I did that with the rest). I think the rest of the world has the original release still, though I'm not sure what's going on with Australia/NZ as the original release was still there earlier today, but now when I search it I get the "item not available" error, even though it's there in the search results. I care way too much. Anyway nice to see a bit of US promo! I can't see this ever being a US hit unless they make a version with more vocals and/or rap and/or louder party beats, none of which I want so I'd much rather them try with the original and fail, if anything more is done that is.

OMG! This is too much. The dedication for "Jubel" in the post above :'( It actually was out in the US before. This is the original release, consisting of "Jubel" & "Punga" and released in April 2013 with the original cover, and "β 2013 Klingande" is listed which I presume means it was independently released. I knew it was available as an independent release in the US. I think I got too excited to see they have a deal (?) with Ultra Records that I mistakenly put now when I shouldn't Regarding the Netherlands release: the Netherlands has just a 1-track single of the radio edit with "β 2013 2013 SpinninRecords.com" and a different cover to the main 3 in the OP I assume that the artwork of "Jubel" is different there because it is distribuited by Spinnin Records. However, I find very weird that it wasn't their first option in the US, going for Ultra Records. Regarding the Italy release: Italy has a 2-track like the Germany one and an EP like the Spain one but both released by "Ego / Vae Victis S.r.l." and the latter is called "Klingande EP" instead. (Ego Music Italy also have a physical release out with the same tracks as the Germany and France EPs albeit yet again re-ordered; I believe that and the 2-track Germany single are the only physical releases [well "only" is in comparison to the massive amount of digital releases]. [I've actually been looking to buy that one but it keeps being out of stock and twice now I've seen it in stock but haven't been quick enough, lol.]) I found out that Italy has a 1-track exclusive remix as well. I'm also looking forward for the Ego Music Italy physical release tbh, since it has the most tracks on it, but looks like it's going to difficult to get it Regarding the UK/Ireland release: the UK/Ireland pre-orders under "exclusive license to Warner Music UK Ltd.": the 1-track that's been up for months which I presume is the radio edit (no lengths listed on either) and the EP I noticed earlier today which has what I presume to be the original mix of "Jubel" plus 3 remixes that aren't out elsewhere, excitingly including the Nora En Pure remix (I listened to it a while ago and hated that I couldn't get it anywhere [and the stream was tagged anyway if I recall correctly]) I also think it would go as you said: The standalone release with the radio edit, while the original mix is going to be included on the EP. The Nora En Pure remix is on rotation in the UK as far as I know, so there's only available radio rips of it. Regarding the rest of the world and Australia/NZ release: I think the rest of the world has the original release still, though I'm not sure what's going on with Australia/NZ as the original release was still there earlier today, but now when I search it I get the "item not available" error, even though it's there in the search results. Latin America had the original release as you said, but it has been replaced with the 2-track release from Ultra Records. I don't know about the Australia/NZ release though. I assume it's going to have some distributition rights as well, but I don't know from whom tbh I can't see this ever being a US hit unless they make a version with more vocals and/or rap and/or louder party beats, none of which I want so I'd much rather them try with the original and fail, if anything more is done that is. Yeah, I expect the same and I hope they don't do another version for the US. Please, no. As a consequence, I hope the UK release could give some kind of boost to the US audience as well.

PUSHED BACK to May 25 (2 weeks later) in the UK! Very glad because I'd just given up on its chance at #1 when Radio 1 again didn't playlist it this week; this gives it much needed extra time May 25 also seems like a fairly quiet week.

I'm also pissed off that BBC Radio 1 and Capital FM haven't put "Jubel" on rotation yet, despite it was the track of the day in the former almost a week ago. On the other hand, it's not going to be on BBC Radio 1's playlist next week as well May 25 also seems like a fairly quiet week. I also think the same. I guess "Beating Heart" and "You & I" could do some damage, but the real threats, I think, are "Extraordinary" and "Stay With Me", which will come out a week earlier and it depends on how much both of them are gonna hold on in sales for the following week.

That's the playlist I was referring to as 'this week' since it was revealed this week I don't expect Clean Bandit/Sam Smith (and Lana Del Rey who's also out that week) to be that huge, like I think Jubel could beat them with 70k. Possibly less even, as Money On My Mind only sold 60k 2nd week. From the new releases I'm not expecting anything from 1D after their last single made #39 and I hope Ellie won't be big... I don't see any signs that it should be (and the pre-order is #797) so I hope I'm right. There's Secondcity - "I Wanna Feel" which is #354 on pre-orders, I hadn't heard of it before but it seems to be a dance/house song of some sort thus it's probably significant to be charting that high, and I would guess it's something that'll outdo Ellie/1D. I presume it's not #1 competition but I know nothing about it. So yeah it's a good week for Jubel; as long as Radio 1 do playlist it I'll consider it the frontrunner. If they don't end up playlisting it then it won't be anywhere near of course. 9/3: My Love 16/3: Tsunami (Jump) 23/3: I Got U 30/3: She Looks So Perfect 6/4: The Man 13/4: Nobody To Love 20/4: Hideaway 27/4: Waves 4/5: Summer 11/5: - 18/5: I Will Never Let You Down 25/5: Sam Smith/Clean Bandit/Lana Del Rey? 1/6: Jubel 8/6: Sing Now we just need one more gap filled!

If they don't end up playlisting it then it won't be anywhere near of course. β’ I completely forgot about "West Coast" Anyway, interesting fact. I'm not so into sales as much as you, so I guess the Top 3 will be between the three of them and I think Lana will outpeak the others. β’ I haven't listened to "You & I" yet, but I think it's quite similar to "Story of My Life" than "Midnight Memories", so I guess it could do better than the latter. BTW, you could assume that I forgot that it barely made the Top 40~ β’ "Beating Heart" could go either way honestly, but I think it will depend on airplay as well. β’ Regarding "I Wanna Feel", you're right. I've just listened to it and it's a dance/house track which samples Toni Braxton's "You're Makin' Me High". I'm not so into it on first listen, but I guess it could debut high and then, begin to fall, as you said. β’ As a consequence, BBC Radio 1 and Capital FM need to do their job ASAP and put "Jubel" on rotation.

about a day late but PLAYLISTED BY RADIO 1 FINALLY! Secondcity playlisted this week too and it's doing much better in pre-orders right now... hopefully that changes? At least that's probably something I'll love anyway though lol but excited to see how much the pre-order will climb with consistent play! Hopefully top 200 at least, but with a month to go I should probably be hoping more for top 100

It's up to the B List on BBC Radio 1! However, it's still not playlisted on Capital FM yet The good thing is that it's finally inside the Top 400 on the UK iTunes, but "I Wanna Feel" is about to crack the Top 100 there.

lol after being constantly checking it on the UK top 1500 for the past few weeks... I totally forgot this week. I would've hoped for higher than #347 since it got a lot higher when it was Track of the Day but I'm guessing there's more focus on it there than when it's just on the regular playlist. It's not doing too badly with 3.5 weeks left, but definitely no chance against Secondcity. Not expecting Capital to playlist it before release, they only added Changes and Sonnentanz on the playlists revealed a few days before their respective releases and from my perception of Capital they only play this stuff when it gets popular enough that they have to, not because they want to. On the note of comparing this to Changes, I just took a look at this: kworb.net/ww/songarchive/_faul&wadad&pnau-changes.html. Scroll to March 2014 for UK release, and it came out 2 months and 2 days before Jubel so you can just look at the day of the month and apply it to Jubel. I like this because in terms of reaching the top 400, Jubel is actually ahead of schedule! I think Jubel was playlisted by R1 a week earlier, but still from my not paying enough attention perspective I thought a to-be-#3 hit 3.5 weeks before release would usually be higher, but apparently not; if it's on track to do as well as Changes, now that I've re-lost all my #1 confidence I'm content. I still think Jubel sounds like a bigger hit though (and I think it is in the rest of Europe). Edit: also looked up Sonnentanz, which sold 10k more first week than Changes. It's listed as having hit top 400/200 16 days before release, then quickly climbed up. From trawling an old thread it seems the pre-order wasn't put up until that day though (which would explain why it wasn't top 400 until 2 weeks after R1-playlisting), but it's still nice to know that 16 days can go to #3.

Great analysis! :) Looks like a #1 debut is out of the bag, but I will be pleased if it reaches the Top 5 in the UK though. I would've hoped for higher than #347 since it got a lot higher when it was Track of the Day but I'm guessing there's more focus on it there than when it's just on the regular playlist. It needs to be again tbh~ β’ Regarding the Capital FM topic, when you said they only played this stuff, I assume you're referring to the deep music genre. If it's not the case, I disagree because they have playlisted "There Goes My Baby" by Enrique Iglesias featuring Flo Rida when it hasn't been announced as a single there. It is now, but I was surprised to see that actually.

It is now, but I was surprised to see that actually. It reached the top 200, at least #194. What I meant was... to attempt an all-encompassing term, sophisticated dance music? As in My Love, I Got U, Hideaway, Waves, Changes, Sonnentanz, Ready For Your Love, Look Right Through, What I Might Do, So Good To Me and so on. As opposed to, say, Red Lights, Summer, Shot Me Down, Wake Me Up, Anywhere For You, even Tsunami/Animals I'd lump in. I may be wrong about my original sentence because I don't follow their playlist closely, so I looked up when they playlisted most of this year's biggest dance hits: Ready For Your Love - released 26/1, playlisted 18/1 My Love - released 2/3, playlisted 27/2 Tsunami - released 9/3, playlisted 1/2 I Got U - released 16/3, playlisted 7/2 Changes - released 23/3, playlisted 21/3 Nobody To Love - released 6/4, playlisted 21/3 Touch - released 13/4, playlisted 27/3 Hideaway - released 13/4, playlisted 21/3 Waves - released 20/4, playlisted 27/3 Summer - released 27/4, playlisted 17/3 Some of those are pretty good timing, some are really late (like My Love gosh). Don't think I can deduce anything from that anyway as there's so much difference within that selection of songs; comparing to Changes and Sonnentanz works better

Great week for the pre-order, went from still in the 200s/300s early in the week to #166 roughly this time yesterday to now having spent the last few hours circling just outside the top 100 (best I've seen is #105, currently #111). At present I think it should be good for #2 Interestingly today was also the point in Changes' run where it climbed #285 to #121, but it then fell back to the mid-200s 2 days later; since Jubel's been playlisted for a couple weeks and charting more consistently I don't think it will fall back like that (but who knows really I can't predict pre-orders). I was looking for a pre-order run a bit bigger than Changes that might better match Jubel; The Man, which sold 88k first week, seems like a possible option (not sure if the January charting was the pre-order or when it was temporarily available). Based on how long the pre-order has been selling + being about to go top 100 15 days before release I think 80-90k is realistically attainable, hopefully at least!

AND OMG THEY FINALLY PUT LENGTHS ON THE PRE-ORDERS The single is... 2:28 was the regular 3:19 radio edit really too long??! the UK used to frequently get extra short edits of dance songs a few years ago but that's definitely in the past; I Got U, Animals, My Love and others had their full length versions (4:45, 5:03, 4:22 respectively) as the main sellers/versions on pre-order and had no trouble there. I don't want to hear Jubel cut down that much lol although Look Right Through was also 2:28, maybe there's some luck there. Addicted To You as well unsurprisingly the EP has the PROPER full version (but not the 3:19 edit), and the remixes are all just over 6 minutes. still excited for Nora En Pure

YES!!! It has fallen, but the fact that it reached #100 is still amazing. The single is... 2:28 was the regular 3:19 radio edit really too long??! Ugh! The original is flawless and the radio edit is tolerable, but a shorter one? :( the UK used to frequently get extra short edits of dance songs a few years ago but that's definitely in the past; I Got U, Animals, My Love and others had their full length versions (4:45, 5:03, 4:22 respectively) as the main sellers/versions on pre-order and had no trouble there. I don't want to hear Jubel cut down that much lol although Look Right Through was also 2:28, maybe there's some luck there. Addicted To You as well I know you said main sellers/versions, but I assume you know that "Animals" got a UK radio edit, which length is 2:45. Anyway, the full version >>>>> mainly because the "We're the f*cking animals" part is so clean unsurprisingly the EP has the PROPER full version (but not the 3:19 edit), and the remixes are all just over 6 minutes. still excited for Nora En Pure I personally think they should have put the radio edit here and the original/full version in the main one. Anyway, I don't know if this will affect in a sort of way in the UK, but the (new) EP is out in some European countries as well.

I love this song so much. I hope it eventually becomes a hit on this side of the pond, but I know that's just wishful thinking :(.

It's up to the A List on BBC Radio 1. FINALLY! Also, the single is currently at #59, while the EP is at #177 on the UK iTunes.

I just gave a try to the new edit of "Jubel" and it's something I wasn't expecting for. I mean, I thought it was going to be a shorter version than the radio edit (3:19), but it's a new mix of the track instead. The vocal part is more predominant, although there are some parts that seems to be heavier as well, like the sound of the sax. However, I will stay with the original.
By the way, it's currently at #3 in the UK with a second version of the track (presumably the original mix) at #125.

It's basically a different song, they've changed a lot more than any regular radio edit to the point of giving it a pretty different mood (to me at least) I see how it's more commercially viable and I think it's well done for what it is, but redoing a song like this still feels like a pre-2013/2014 mindset. I hope the reason wasn't to get it picked up by Capital only to be ignored I don't mind it but I kind of feel I should avoid listening to it because I don't want it to make the original mix sound wrong even though I'm going to be hearing it regularly on the chart show anyway. I still don't have the Nora En Pure remix, why can't they release it here :( That second version is the original mix. I thought it would go a lot higher since Changes' original mix went top 40 and that one had a normal radio edit and longer original mix, maybe that one was promoted on iTunes or listed first in Shazam results if that's a thing or whatever. I did think the whole thing would have an actual chance at #2 too (and I still think its pre-orders looked stronger than slightly above half of Secondcity's), it's a bit annoying that it was held back for like twice as long as Changes only to sell a little more (probably). I assume it should go #3 but I'm not sure if it ever got ahead of Waves combined which is annoying, anxious for the mids of course. I should be more appreciative about it being in the top 3/5/10 at any position, it's times like these that the chart not being predictable weeks/months in advance would help. It's contributing to a really strong top 5 come Sunday. Not 10.

From the Official Charts: Expected. Hope it will stay in the Top 3 until the end of the week. The only threaten at this point could be "Waves", so I wish the gap won't get closer.

I wonder if Jameela will still be sure that Klingande is 1 person on Sunday. Hope we get sales soon! Also I noticed that the remix EP is out in the US: itunes.apple.com/us/album/jubel-remixes-ep/id881953749. Bought the Nora En Pure remix That uses up the last of my US iTunes credit from 2 years ago, lol. Which means I get to complain more about stuff unavailable here, yay!

Just to add yet another release, it's out now in NZ as the 3:21 radio edit with a black and white cover. Probably will come to Australia too in a couple hours. Thursday midweeks: 1. I Wanna Feel (56.8k) 2. Stay With Me (43.8k) 3. Jubel (32.8k) 4. Waves (24.9k)

I wonder if Jameela will still be sure that Klingande is 1 person on Sunday. Wait! Does Jameela think Klingande is only a person instead of a duo? Helping Klingande's sales in the US! So proud of you <3 Probably will come to Australia too in a couple hours. As expected, it's out in your country as well with the B&W artwork. Looks like a Top 3 debut is a lock so far, unless something unexpected happens. However, it's down to #4 on the UK iTunes
