For straitfan87: Guess who added Strait Out Of The Box Part Deux today? I will echo your feelings about it and say it looks very cheap compared to the first box set. It could have been another four CD set with 72 songs. I easily added songs I didn't have before, so that's a plus.

My country collection has b en growing a lot over the last few years, not sure what my first country album was though. I'll have to think on that, probably a Taylor Swift album, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm actually gonna be going through my collection tonight, so I'll post a list later😉
But what I did get this weekend were signed copies of Cam and Maren Morris debut albums, a signed copy of Reba's new Gospel album and a signed Darius Rucker Boxset.😊

Just curious...since a lot of the posters here have very large cd collections, has anybody ever accidentally bought a cd they already had?

Just curious...since a lot of the posters here have very large cd collections, has anybody ever accidentally bought a cd they already had? I have only ever re-bought a cd if I were to lose the original for some reason. Although that pretty much doesn't matter now because of iTunes! But if it came down to an artist that I really care about, I would still buy the cd again if I had to, just to say that my collection is still complete. Also, if the cd gets too damaged to work properly and it is an artist I really care about, I would look at replacing it. I have never accidentally bought an album that I already own though. Granted, my collection is not nearly as big as a lot of peoples' on here, but I am still excellent at remembering what I do and don't have.

Not very often, but it's happened to me a time or two. I've also done the opposite where I pass over something thinking I already have it, but nope.

The last CD is one that's back in my collection after I stupidly ran it over with my computer chair several months ago.

I am a huge fan of E.T.C.. I love singing Don't Make It Easy For Me.

Just curious...since a lot of the posters here have very large cd collections, has anybody ever accidentally bought a cd they already had? By accident or on purpose? By accident, yes, especially when in a small record store and I see a bargain...."well, even if I have this CD, it's still a good price! So that's okay." On purpose, yes. Some CDs are so good, you can't have just one copy in case the unthinkable happens. I should add that this was before Spotify and other streaming sites which makes it a lot easier to listen to a certain song at any given place or time. Sometimes a third copy (don't ask!) is required for the really special records. (In case the unthinkable happens, then a thief steals copy #2) Edit: In light of keeping on topic. The following CDs have been purchased recently: Kelsea Ballerini - The first time Laura Bryna - Trying to be me (was a ridiculous bargain) Chelsea Basham - Youngest Cliona Hagan - Straight to you

I have a couple copies of Patty Loveless' Long Stretch of Lonesome, 3 of Trisha Yearwood's The Song Remembers When and two of Montgomery Gentry's Tattoos & Scars. Good thing I won't pay over $2 for them used! Lol

One new CD today:
Garth Brooks - Ropin' The Wind (Limited Series edition)
I've told you about me accidentally breaking a CD by running it over with my computer chair. Have any of you accidentally broke a CD in an unusual way?

Have any of you accidentally broke a CD in an unusual way? Well I tried taking one out of those cases for double discs and cracked the disc in half. I hate those things because they're difficult to get the discs out of.
