"Prayer for the Road" and "Just Add Moonlight" are my two favorites off initial listens. Not really a song I dislike on the album though.

After the first listen I believe the only song I don't care for is "Revelations." But it sounds like a song they would like to play live.

I echo all the sentiments expressed thus far.
"Prayer for the Road" and "Just Add Moonlight" are easily my two favorites while I mostly like the rest except "Revelations" (and to a lesser extent "Let's Do Something Tonight"). "Just Add Moonlight" seems like the logical choice for a 3rd single. "Dust" was probably my 3rd favorite so I'm happy it's the 2nd single, but I'm still a little disappointed. I heard that on radio the other night for the first time and probably had my expectations set too high.
"Angel Like You" or "A Lot Like Love" could be a potential 4th single. I just don't see "Prayer for the Road" on radio.

These guys just continue to put out fantastic albums. After two listens, my early favorites are "Your Last Broken Heart", "Just Add Moonlight", "10,000 Towns", and "A Lot Like Love".
"Your Last Broken Heart" and "Just Add Moonlight" are catchy as hell.

"Prayer for the Road" is definitely not a single imo, but that song is just awesome. I bet it'll be pretty sweet to hear live. Gotta love EYB, releasing 4 songs early from the album and releasing it a day early. I think it also has to deal with trying to not have to compete directly with I'm A Fire, this extra day could be a big boost for their sales. I do think hearing basically half the album before it was released kind of takes away from the overall enjoyment of the album (especially since my favorites were the earlier releases).

Haven't listened yet, but I plan on getting the Wal-mart deluxe version. I really want to hear the song "The Moon's On Fire" written by Chris Stapleton, Al Anderson, and Lee Thomas Miller. There's also a song called "Traces" on there written by EYB with Lee Brice and Kyle Jacobs.

The album is available for download already on iTunes! Early release I guess!

This is a fantastic album. I love every song except Prayer For the Road.
I know there is a lot of talk about how bad country music is right now, but between this, Eric's, Dierk's and David Nail's CDs, we are in an amazing stretch of quality songs and voices being released. I almost wish they were spread out further apart because I am not tired of any of the three previous albums I mentioned.

Really liked this album alot!! The three bonus tracks are stellar with "Traces" being my favorite. So far the year is starting off pretty good with quality music.
My favorites thus far: 1. David Nail 2. Dierks Bentley 3. Jon Pardi 4. Eli Young Band 5. Eric Church

My love for this group continues growing with this album; a lot of these songs are very catchy, and not really "bro country" at all. They easily could've caved in...wait, is that even an option for today's country groups? Never mind, forget I asked. Thought about doing a track by track, but it'll get repetitive. Keeping it short here, the only songs I don't care for that much are "Let's Do Something Tonight" and "Prayer for the Road". It took a while for me to understand "Your Last Broken Heart", but I get it now; I think the delivery of the chorus made it sound worse than it actually was. Everything else, I can easily hear on the radio. Two songs stood out to me in a very good way, and I think could even change country radio for the better if chosen as singles: "What Does" and "A Lot Like Love". Yes, the former is pretty risky, but I'm completely enamored with it; great delivery, great lyrical set-up and being a sucker for a waltz doesn't hurt neither. ;) Of course the latter would be a surefire radio hit (with enough hype obviously). Great effort and one of the best for the year in my book.

I like this album, but, for me, it's not as good as Life at Best. I want to spend more time with it (still on a Riser high) to fully assess my favorite and everything, but after a couple of listens, it's not hitting me quite the way LAB did. Still good, still enjoyable, and not a skipper to be found, but just not quite as strong as LAB to me.

Easily my favorite album this year so far! David Nail is my second favorite so far! 10,000 Towns could easily pick up nominations for album of the year at the CMA Awards this year if it's eligible.

I'll post my fully formed thoughts later, but I'm quite pleased with this album so far. It's been a busy week, so i've only gotten to listen to the album all the way through twice, but I can't find a bad song. I'm obsessed with the title track, it's so insanely catchy. I don't recall enjoying an album cut this much since I first heard Brett Eldredge's Signs. The songwriting isn't as strong on a whole as Life At Best, but Prayer For The Road is excellent (not quite War On A Desperate Man, but still pretty good). I hope that is the 3rd single, though Let's Do Something Tonight may be a safer choice. This is definitely their catchiest album to date (or most commercial if you will), and coming up short of Life At Best just gives it something in common with every other album i own. Now if only I hadn't had a brain fade and bought the album at Meijer instead on going to Walmart for the deluxe edition.

I haven't really given it much attention either, because of RISER too! Anyways I'm thinking I liked "Life at Best" more because it seemed to have more songs about life whereas 10,000 Towns seems to focus more on relationships. Still a great cd, that I will probably get more into it in a few weeks

Also, "Life at Best" had like 15 or 16 songs didn't it? Seems like it had about 4 or 5 more songs than "10,000 Towns". That may not have mattered to y'all who preferred the subject matter of the previous album, but with EYB more songs usually equals better for me.

Life at Best had 14 songs compared to the 11 on 10,000 Towns. That said, the deluxe edition of this album has three bonus tracks, so the length of both albums is identical if you opt for the extended version.

My iTunes has a couple numbers missing on "Life at Best". I haven't got the deluxe edition of "10,000 Towns" (iTunes pre-orders will do that to ya lol). After I get the deluxe edition songs, I'll have a better comparison of the two.
