I really like this, I think it's definitely a good choice as the next single. Hopefully it can do at least as well as Story Of My Life did.

Wrong choice! Such wasted relief that "Midnight Memories" is getting passed over only in favor of "Little Sh*ts Part II." This is the Spring --> Summer single; no one wants a tuneless ballad. "Happily" or "Strong" are both the right tempo and contain the undeniable pop hooks needed to maintain this unprecedented radio momentum. I'm afraid "You & I" is going to blow it though.  What's wrong with it??? I'm sure Happily could be the 4th single. #whoknows If this underperforms, we probably won't get a fourth single- or they'd just throw us "Midnight Memories" to save on the budget. |

That's basically everything I wanted to stay including my personal picks for the album. If they wanted to continue their mature sounding singlesm "Strong" would've been the way to go. Probably the smartest choice after SOML's success. I think that gained them a lot of new older fans, and going back to a more teen bop pop song after that would be a mistake. But that said I don't expect this to do as well as SOML. That last chorus really goes hard though. If the whole song were that good I'd say massive smash.

I honestly don't get why people get pressed whenever 1D gets a new single off their album just because it's not one of their favorites. The song's not that bad. Sure, it's not a standout like "Diana" was (that should probably be next), but I'm actually liking this direction that they're going with.
I have a feeling that this will continue their HAC success after "Story Of My Life" went #1 there.

This gives me 80's vibes but reminds me of "Inconsolable" by BSB for some reason. Should hit. I'm predicting a peak at 5-8 with recurrency.

This is a good song, but not single-worthy. I agree with everyone else that "Happily" should have been the next single. But I guess this kind of song will help broaden their fan base passed their teenage girls. "Story of My Life" did that successfully, this could possibly. I think it'll do similar to "Little Things" from the last era.

Oh, this is so much more like it. After SOML and "Midnight Memories" I was worried it was going to be one single after another that just sounded awful. Fantastic choice! This is definitely one of my favorites on the album and I am so glad that they aren't going to give us "Midnight Memories" next, because I'm not keen on that song and it would've flopped. I think this song has potential, though I still would've went with "Diana" personally. Totally content with this being next though, and I hope it does well for them. And since we're getting another new album in the fall, I doubt they'll release another single after this one... which is too bad since "Diana" is a big smash imo.

When I first listened to the album the songs that hit me as instant hits were "You and I" and "Right Now." So just having one of these make it as the probable final single makes me very happy. This should peak in June-July, then it'll be time to send a new single probably in September for Album #4.

I almost feel like "Through the Dark" would be the best choice for the third single. It's interesting, and that's what people like right now.

Good song and a huge improvement on Midnight Memories but Happily or Through the Dark would have been far better choices.
