Do you think Happy has any chance of beating BL's record of 10 weeks of 300k+ sales? Happy is already at 6 as of this coming week (Kworb's monday afternoon update says 370k weekly sales for Happy, and there's no way it can be off by more than 70k)...if its sales will go up then can it stay around long enough?

"Dark Horse" is hardly "burning out faster". It's been #2 for the past 4 weeks after hitting the top and if I'm not mistaken it has spent every single week during the Billboard year on the Hot 100.

it's still in the top 2 because of the video...once people are over that the song will start falling hard...Happy is almost tripling DH's sales and is well ahead in radio as well (behind in streaming only because of the video buzz the last few weeks)...and obviously quite a few people here agree with me that DH won't be higher than Happy in the year-]!| chart...

The others are pop songs sung by black artists. Just because it's played on urban doesn't mean it's r&b.

Obviously, Dark Horse will be behind Happy on the year end chart, but its not burning out fast by any means. It's still gaining airplay and the video is still netting 5 million views (US) a week. If anything, Dark Horse is having excellent longevity.

2 other things to note

1. Some have asked what does All Of Me have that his other songs didn't? The answer: A Grammy performance.
Without that, it wouldn't be so huge, it would have peaked in the 30-40. But the Grammy's came and when it jumped to #4, it stayed there.

2. Assuming Blurred Lines drops outs this week, Radioactive will have outlasted the songs that blocked it from #1 and #2 (Get Lucky, We Can't Stop), besides the fact that during the time it was popular, Radioactive had at least double the weeks then the other songs did, (witch, if you look at the history of that, it almost ensures a long way down, see demons and counting stars).
