I have many questions concerning artists, radio stations, and other areas of music. Instead of starting tons of threads I decided to post them together. So feel free to answer any that you can.
1. How many Dance stations are there in the US? & what are they?
2. Does it cost anything to subscribe to Mediabase 24/7?
3. When is "Just Wanna Dance" by Toy going to Radio? OR When will Startin' Over be released?
4. Will there be any more singles from En Vogue's Soul Flower?
5. Is Celine Dion's "You & I" going for adds at any more formats?

Not many. There's one in Miami Party 93.1, and I think WKTU in New York is a dance station too. They usually go under the CHR/Rhyrhmic format. Not many others though, cause Dance is only big in certain markets.
5. Is Celine Dion's "You & I" going for adds at any more formats?
I wish. It sounds like the perfect allaround song to bring her back to mainstream, but unfortunately Sony could care less about her. If they put 2 cents into promotion, it might actually do something.

3. When is "Just Wanna Dance" by Toy going to Radio? OR When will Startin' Over be released? I'm not sure when it'll be released to radio.. but hopefully, after it hits #1 on the Dance charts! I emailed Toy's record company late last year and they said "Startin' Over" will be released this year. I'm hoping to see a release date ASAP too.. Trust me, we're as anxious as you are.

There have been a few more in Chicago, Denver and Los Angeles/Orange County, but they've all gone by the wayside.

2. Does it cost anything to subscribe to Mediabase 24/7? If you're registered with All Access (free registration), you automatically get access to Mediabase, but what you get is limited.

1. How many Dance stations are there in the US? & what are they? The dance station in Dallas-Ft. Worth is 106.7 KDL. You can also find one in the Phoenix Area...Energy Radio (at 92.7 and 101.1) Mix 102.7 in New York City has become very dance-friendly over the past few months, and Star 93.7 in Boston is dance-leaning. C89.5 in Seattle (a station run by the public school system) is pretty much a dance station as well. Dance stations that have fallen recently: 95.3 Party in Orlando (now Urban as Power 95.3) 103.1 KDL in L.A. (now Alternative as Indie 103.1) Energy 92.3 in Chicago (now Urban as Power 92)

100000watts lists WXQQ 96.9 in Toledo, OH as Rhy. CHR but I've heard they play dance tunes. Also listed as Rhy. CHR is Maui's 105.5 KPMW "Hawaii's Dance Authority". Although their music is really all over the place.

I commented on radio-info that WXQQ is a dance station owned by a church and that in colonial times Christians didn't like dancing.

Here's some questions I usually wind up asking myself as I listen to radio here in the Tampa Bay region: --When will FLZ stop screwing up the intros to certain songs? --When will WFLA get a weekend overnight news anchor that sounds like he/she has a clue and not some scrub that sounds like he had just come from the retirement home? (sorry if I sound insensitive) --Why did the Sports Animal have to bring back Dan Sileo?? ...and why are they screwing over Tony Bruno? --How much longer will it be before WPOI switches formats (and ergo call letters) ... again!!--When will the newly named 1010 the Buzz (by the way, great idea of these goobers to steal the call letters of classic rock station WBZZ in Pitt.) get a freaking clue and stop airing NY Yankee games in a market that has team in the same division? --Why am I hearing ads on the new ESPN 1470 deeming satellite radio as unworthy (note: they're presented as a sort of PSA, but there's no mention of who paid for the spot or who presented it, i.e. Genesis communi- cations, or the National Coalition of Local Radio Listen- ers).

--How much longer will it be before WPOI switches formats (and ergo call letters) ... again!!For that matter, how much longer will they keep referring to themselves as "The NEW 101-5 The Point"? It's been, what, almost three years since they switched to '80s?

--When will the newly named 1010 the Buzz (by the way, great idea of these goobers to steal the call letters of classic rock CHR/Pop station WBZZ in Pitt.) get a freaking clue and stop airing NY Yankee games in a market that has team in the same division? WCBS, the Yankees flagship station, and WBZZ The Buzz are both owned by Infinity.

How many Dance stations are there in the US? & what are they? There are 6 stations reporting to the BDS/Billboard Dance Airplay chart. There's probably more, but I bet it's less than 50.
