Well, this will be a nice change. I checked my recording of last night's airing and noted that it, both, started late and ended early (in comparison to previous weeks). I began to wonder if I had the whole thing. One thing I haven't liked about the iHeart station in recent months is that, between the repeating of segments and the numerous extras played during breaks, a 4 hour program gets, unnecessarily, padded out to 4 and a half (sometimes longer) hours. Of course, listening to a recording gives me the benefit of being able to skip the filler. Now it looks like there's less filler to skip.

Better hope that you don't need to wait till the weekend on iHeart...listening again today, there's lots of filler extras inbetween segments. Additionally, they all have the "AT40 Extra" jingle preceding them, so at first listen it sounds like lots of extra stuff loaded onto the show.

We got both a G.U.Y. and a G.R.L. Only 4 songs in the lower 20 with more than 20 weeks on the chart.
I thought Lady Gaga did a very good job and has a pleasant radio voice. She announced quite
a few of the songs and their positions, so it didn't seem "phoned in". She said that another volume
of Art Pop is a strong possibility soon, and that she had written lots of songs.

I agree that Lady Gaga did a good job hosting AT40. I still want to hear Ellen K. host AT40 even for just a week. Give her a chance to host it.
