TOP 1. It's Getting Better All the Time 2. Red Dirt Road 3. Ain't Nothing 'Bout You 4. Brand New Man 5. Neon Moon 6. Building Bridges 7. Lost and Found 8. Why Would I Say Goodbye 9. She Used to Be Mine 10. Indian Summer 11. My Next Broken Heart 12. Play Something Country 13. My Heart Is Lost to You 14. You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone 15. If You See Him/If You See Her
BOTTOM 1. Put a Girl in It 2. Cowgirls Don't Cry (just never did anything for me, and the remix with Reba is grating to listen to because of the massive key-change and artificially pitched-up instruments) 3. Proud of the House We Built (decent start actually, but it feels half-finished) 4. Missing You (I don't remember hearing this one on radio at all) 5. I'll Never Forgive My Heart (another one that just feels unfinished)
NOT THAT BAD, JUST MASSIVELY OVERRATED 1. My Maria 2. Boot Scootin' Boogie

Top 1. Neon Moon 2. Red Dirt Road 3. Brand New Man 4. Lost and Found 5. Only In America 6. It's Getting Better All The Time 7. Ain't Nothing 'Bout You (would be in my top 4 if not for overplay) 8. How Long Gone 9. Play Something Country 10. She's Not The Cheatin' Kind
Bottom 1. My Maria (instant station changer. Massively overrated, and massively overplayed) 2. Honky Tonk Stomp (I can't believe this was their ride into the sunset single) 3. Mama Don't Get Dressed Up For Nothing 4. Hillbilly Deluxe 5. Cowgirls Don't Cry
Should not have been overplayed 1. Believe (this isn't the kind of song you want to be hearing five times a day for 6 months straight)

Brooks & Dunn are one of my favourite male country acts. Though they dropped off considerably in quality near the end of their career (imo, at least), their 90s and early 00s work was great.
Top:
1. Ain't Nothin' Bout You 2. If You See Him/If You See Her 3. My Maria 4. She's Not The Cheatin' Kind 5. That Ain't No Way To Go 6. How Long Gone 7. Only In America 8. You Can't Take The Honky Tonk Out Of The Girl 9. Red Dirt Road 10. That's What It's All About 11. My Heart Is Lost To You 12. Boot Scootin' Boogie (this is way higher than it should be, but I'll always have fond memories of this being one of the first country songs I knew and liked) 13. Cowgirls Don't Cry 14. Brand New Man 15. Neon Moon
Bottom:
1. Honky Tonk Stomp 2. Beer Thirty 3. Hillbilly Deluxe 4. Indian Summer 5. Missing You (I like the song, but their version always seemed bored and lifeless to me)

Can't say anything stands out as hate-worthy

Going to stick to singles. Not a big Brooks and Dunn fan, but don't hate them either.
Top 5: 1. Red Dirt Road (the only single of theirs that I own) 2. Believe 3. She's Not the Cheatin' Kind 4. Put a Girl in it 5. Cowgirls Don't Cry
Bottom 5: 1. Play Something Country 2. Boot Scootin' Boogie 3. Hillbilly Deluxe 4. Beer Thirty 5. You Can't Take the Honky Tonk out of the Girl.

I honestly stopped listening to Brooks & Dunn during the Hillbilly Deluxe era as I just could not get into the direction that album and Cowboy Town took on. I just wasn't a fan from there and can't say I've even really heard anything after "Cowgirls Don't Cry." Top 5: - Red Dirt Road
- How Long Gone
- Why Would I Say Goodbye
- Every River
- Little Miss Honkytonk
Bottom 5: - Boot Scootin' Boogie
- Believe
- Play Something Country
- Cowgirls Don't Cry
- Beer Thirty
Honorable single mention: "South of Santa Fe" Honorable album cut mention: Anything from Steers and Stripes, except... Dishonorable single mention: "Ain't Nothing 'bout You" (how this ever spent five weeks at #1 is beyond me, there ain't nothing 'bout it I really like) last minute edit: if the artist below had maybe cut this song I think it would've been a huge hit for him and been much, much better on the ears...just saying lol.

I'm glad everyone is going to 15, because I wasn't sure how I was going to cap it at 10

The Long Goodbye 10. He's Got You 11. Red Dirt Road 12. That's What It's All About 13. Husbands & Wives 14. Only In America 15. I Can't Get Over You

Talk about awesome! Brooks & Dunn are SO GOOD!! I am going to limit myself to 15, but it will be a huge struggle. Also, it may be even harder to come up with 5 dislikes! Tops: 1) Ain't Nothing 'Bout You 2) That Ain't No Way To Go 3) Only In America 4) She's Not The Cheatin' Kind 5) The Long Goodbye 6) It's Getting Better All The Time 7) She Used To Be Mine 8) Every River 9) I Am That Man 10) My Next Broken Heart 11) Neon Moon 12) Whiskey Under The Bridge 13) He's Got You 14) Brand New Man 15) That's What It's All About Honorable Mentions: A Man This Lonely, If You See Him/If You See Her, How Long Gone, Missing You, Lost And Found, I'll Never Forgive My Heart Bottoms: 5) Proud of the House We Built (This song is an example of how much trouble I had choosing 5 songs to add to this list. This is not a bad song at all! It is just kinda bland, and definitely wore on me heavily on the radio. It's one that I do not dislike, I am just never in the mood to listen to it.) 4) Hard Workin' Man (This song is not terrible. If you go down their list of singles, this is the first one that does not immediately grab me. I just don't love the melody or lyrics, so it's just kind've there for me.) 3) Rock My World (Little Country Girl) (This song is just not very good. I blame it on the fact that Kix is singing it ) 2) Hillbilly Deluxe (No substance whatsoever. Stupid message, and not very catchy. Not a bad song, but they are so much better than this.) 1) Honky Tonk Stomp (Really? THAT is the song they rode out on??? I'm sure they could have found something that was better than this drivel if they tried! By far the worst of their career.)

OMG, I love(d) this group! Definitely one of my favorite duos from my childhood and I enjoyed a lot of their singles, even the ones I wasn't supposed to enjoy! (hahaha)
Top Favorites in no order (hoping to end up with some multiple of 5 here): "Brand New Man" "You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone" "Only in America" "She's Not the Cheatin' Kind" "My Next Broken Heart" "Lost and Found" "If You See Him/If You See Her" "How Long Gone" "Red Dirt Road" "It's Getting Better All The Time"
Honorable mentions: "That's What It's All About", "He's Got You", "That Ain't No Way to Go", "Neon Moon", "Cowgirls Don't Cry", "Proud of the House We Built"
And now for my guilty pleasures... "Little Miss Honky Tonk" "Play Something Country" "Ain't Nothin' 'Bout You" "Hard Workin' Man" "You Can't Take the Honky Tonk Out of the Girl" "My Maria"
Bottom Few: "Honky Tonk Stomp" (what were they thinking?) "Put a Girl In It" "Hillbilly Deluxe" (see "Honky Tonk Stomp") "Indian Summer" (boring enough to put me to sleep if I'm tired enough) "Boot Scootin' Boogie" (overplay doesn't help much neither)
The rest, I'm either not familiar enough with or I don't remember.

Top 15
01 "Red Dirt Road" 02 "Neon Moon" 03 "How Long Gone" 04 "My Maria" 05 "Brand New Man" 06 "Ain't Nothin' 'Bout You" 07 "Only In America" 08 "Boot Scootin' Boogie" 09 "You'll Always Be Loved By Me" 10 "That Ain't No Way To Go" 11 "My Next Broken Heart" 12 "Indian Summer" 13 "My Heart Is Lost To You" 14 "Missing You" 15 "It's Getting Better All The Time"
Bottom 5:
01 "Play Something Country" 02 "Put A Girl In It" 03 "Honky Tonk Stomp" (with Billy Gibbons) 04 "Hillbilly Deluxe" 05 "God Must Be Busy"
The first 3 or 4 here just seemed incredibly pandering and obnoxious to me and I really disliked them. But a lot of their 90's and early 00's stuff was excellent.

So I tallied up all of the Top/Bottom lists in this thread and found this is what the popular opinion has as Pulse's Top/Bottom for Brooks & Dunn just like with Blake Shelton. Again, I used all users picks, so if someone had 5 for their Top and Bottom or 10 Top and 3 Bottom I counted them all. Hope y'all enjoy this as much as I do!
Top 10 Red Dirt Road (12) Brand New Man (11) Neon Moon (10) Lost and Found/How Long Gone/She's Not the Cheating Kind (9) That Ain't No Way to Go/It's Getting Better All the Time (8) You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone/Only in America (7)
Bottom 8 Hillbilly Deluxe (12) Honky Tonk Stomp (11) Put a Girl in it (8) Cowgirls Don't Cry (5) Play Something Country/My Maria/Boot Scootin' Boogie/Beer Thirty (4)
Some interesting stats... “Brand New Man” was the only song with 10+ "Tops" and no "Bottoms" “Hillbilly Deluxe” and “Honky Tonk Stomp” are the only songs with 10+ "Bottoms" and no "Tops" "Red Dirt Road" had the most votes overall (15). "My Maria" (4), "The More I Drink" (4), and "God Gave Me You" (5) were the songs that had equal "Tops/Bottoms" 54 total songs were accounted for. Seemed to be more songs that were either voted “Top” or “Bottom” just one time than with Blake Shelton.
I'm slowly moving through all the Top/Bottom threads to try and catch up haha.

Thanks for the tally daltonwb25. Very interesting. My after-the-fact vote. I like most all B&D, don't love them, but certainly enjoy them.
Top:
1. Red Dirt Road 2. Ain't Nothin' Bout You 3. She's Not The Cheatin' Kind 4. Only In America 5. My Maria
Bottom (really very little of theirs that I don't like):
1. Honky Tonk Stomp 2. Believe 3. Cowgirls Don't Cry
And in the "I aint ashamed" category... 1. Hillbilly Deluxe (the video made this song) 2. Play Something Country 3. Put a Girl In It

South Of Santa Fe (seriously no one's heard of this song it's the only Kix lead single I think they've ever released and the music video is great too) I've heard of it :) ...and Kix also sang lead on "Lost And Found", "Mama Don't Get Dressed Up For Nothing" and "Rock My World (Little Country Girl)".
