It's catchy but definitely not a radio hit for her. This album will sell solely on the strength of her name and existing fan base.

So-so on both songs we've heard thus far. None of them are making me want new Gwen music, TBQH. Her sound is tired & recycled judging off 'Baby Don't Lie' & 'Spark The Fire'. Not even in a good way.

Supposedly Gwen just announced on Ellen that she (along with Pharrell) will perform "Spark the Fire" on The Voice next Monday (I assume 12/1 and not tonight). My guess is that is when we will get the video as well. I still think the song should go up on iTunes tonight though considering the FIAT commercial is already out and the song leaked over the weekend.

The song is ok. I liked Baby Dont Lie more.
Neither are up to the standard she's created for herself.

I don't mind it. But I sorta feel cheated when artists who can actually sing release where they just talk their way through.
Also, reminds me of "Start the Fire" from Rock Steady.

I saw a clip from her on The Ellen Show today. What in the world did she do to her hair? It looks awful.

iTunes quality <3. I'm sad that they dropped BDL so fast. It had so much potential.

Yeah, I'm sad about BDL's performance. It has been bleeding spins for the past week unfortunately. I still like it a lot. I think that it would've worked much better with better bridge or prechorus. I've been hearing STF a lot with the fiat commercials. Still not a fan of the prechorus and a hater of the verses. Let's see how people respond to it on iTunes this week...

Ugh. I don't know how to feel about all of this. I really like "Baby Don't Lie" and "Spark the Fire" is alright but I was really expecting Gwen to knock it out of the park with her new material. Hopefully the album is filled with gems, but L.A.M.B. and (to a lesser extent) The Sweet Escape were such huge pop productions it's hard not to be disappointed.

All her eras have started off rather "interesting" so hopefully she can pull it together

Like i've said in ND forum, i don't think Gwen is really invested in this project, i mean, i'm thinking it's a label strategy to gather more people to ND reunion next year. But with the lack of passion, and how things are just being thrown away, this strategy is doomed.

Just watched the performance at The Voice, and was that even live? The whole thing seemed lip-synched, except for maybe the bridge.

All her eras have started off rather "interesting" so hopefully she can pull it together Right? Every era of hers it took the 2nd single to have it on track. Rich Girl set the tone for LAMB and TSE set it for the sophomore HOWEVER , spark the fire doesnt sound as easy as fresh as her 2nd singles...

It's so frustrating because I feel like she is still super relevant in celebrity culture, and she looks just like she did fifteen years ago, so she should still have so much potential. But, this project, as well as the last No Doubt one, make me think she is so out of touch with current trends that a comeback is hopeless. It's a shame, because I really thought she could do it.

My point didn't have anything to do with whether it was good or not, rather that it sounded nothing like what was popular in 2012, nor was it edgy or innovative enough to stand out. Had No Doubt or Gwen come out with something more trendy and with the times, they could have had a huge hit on their hands. They did it with Rock Steady, I feel like they could have done it again. Although at least what can be said about Push and Shove is that they were at least sticking to their roots and not trying to completely isolate their longtime fanbase, which is commendable. Gwen's recent solo songs, however, are more trying to bring back a sound that's time has already past and will not be coming around again. She needs to go back to the drawing board.
