I googled I Don't Want to be Here Anymore and all the results were for suicide help. Seriously though, your submission isn't that great. I suggest taking a step back from this before you offend some people that actually contemplate suicide.

And can this whole "hey look, I made up an absurd chorus" thing just die? It's getting annoying IMO.

Well, here it is:
Another great song by these guys. It's also not too heavy, so I think Top 10 on Alternative is doable.

Sounds their pre-Appeal to Reason material, which is awesome. Hope this does excellent on both formats.

If this were 3 years ago, I would have no doubts about this hitting #1..
I HOPE it will make the top 10.. 5 even..
If not, this is the final nail in the Alternative coffin.

I'm glad they didn't take the easy route and make another "Swing Life Away" to keep themselves alive on Alt. This is just how a Rise Against single should sound.

This is good, I don't know if I'm as optimistic as others here. It just doesn't sound like it belongs with the rest of the current Alt Top 10. I would like to see it get there but I'm not sure if it fits the current format. Having an established name doesn't mean that much either, so I'm not sure how far they'll get on that.
My prediction is a peak of #16, though I hope it's higher.

tasty first single this might suffer the same fate as guilty tho I haven't heard it yet, but if that means a #1 on active rock, I'm sure they'd be okay with that. It'd be weird to think six years ago that they'd get their first #1 on active rather than on alternative. I don't think that will necessarily be the case, but if this song is as good as you guys say it is, I think a top 10 on active will be a given.

I like this. I don't know why, but I get a "Collapse (Post-Amerika)" vibe from this.

I liked it more than I did "Help Is On The Way" back when it came out, and I'm sure it'll still grow on me more too. However, I fully expect for this to be the 5th straight album where both the 2nd single is better than the first single, then the 3rd single is by far the best song on the album Give It All (C+) Swing Life Away (B+) Life Less Frightening (A-)Ready To Fall (B) Prayer Of The Refugee (A-) The Good Left Undone (A+)Re-Education (Through Labor) (B+) Audience Of One (A) Savior (A+)Help Is On The Way (B) Make It Stop (September's Children) (B+) Satellite (A+)I still can't get over how I find the best song on the album to always be their 3rd single.

Their best songs are rarely singles tho, Survive, Any Way You Want It, Rumors of My Demise..., Collapse Post Amerika, Survivor Guilt, Sometimes Selling Out is Giving Up, Halfway There, Death Blossoms, etc.

Boring and annoying. I really hope that not too many active rock stations fall into the trap of playing this. It really doesn't even belong on that format.

ok um
I said this was tasty, but honestly it's kind've bland
they are obviously set on not evolving their sound
it's still an easily tolerable single, but I don't think I'll be charting this

Everyone has thier opinion. I love the Indie/PopRock sound because I I'm from the 80's. So here is my 2 cents. The term Alternative didn't start in the 90's . The term has been around since mid 80's with bands like the Cure and Depeche Mode. They got thier start with the genres New Wave and Syth Pop. the reasonI think why IndiePop/Rock is so popular is because its leaning towards the 80's synth pop sound. The term Alternative has always been very very vague. KROQ even played Tom petty , Cheap Trick and Queen during the 80's, but even in the 90's your favourite Alt/Rock station was playing Matchbox Twenty and Erasure Blind side by side with STP and Nine Inch Nails, so I really don't see all the bickering of Lorde and Capital Cities being played on Alt/Rock. For me its an easy transition. At least Alt Rock isn't afraid of the synthesizer anymore. Its exactly like when Suicidal Tendencies ,Missing Persons and Sparks(I love all 3 bands) were on the same playlist. I was happy then and I'm happy now.
Anyway, with that out of the way, I think I 'm liking this new Rise Against song. I'm not going nuts over it, like I did with "Saviour" That's a classic! At the same Time I think it might fair better on Mainstream rock than on Alternative charts for all the reasons I just stated above. I wish it would, but it probobly wont?
