I feel like Team will fall to #11 and Counting Stars will be back in the top 10 next week just due to the radio airplay falling faster for team. I hope so! I want to see CS be half year in top 10!

Birthday is still 70-something on iTunes... without special tricks it's not gonna go top 5, top ten perhaps. I think the longevity of Dark Horse is sabotaging it a bit.

Even special tricks are not going to get it that high unless it is close to that mark already before the special tricks are implemented.

Are we going to have to read countless Katy Perry posts about Birthday hitting Top 10 on the Hot 100?
Relax. Give it time...
The Undconditionally/Dark Horse drama wore me out.
One Katy fan actually posted "She is getting what she deserves!!"
LOL. We are talking about chart positions. Not a prison sentence...

PMB was created by people who have an expressed interest in chart positions. I agree with that. I am sure people in real life are not seeing a therapist because 'Birthday' might only reach #5 (or whatever) instead of #1.
This site is for discussions of this type, in my opinion. Something for entertainment but not to be taken too seriously

Wow!!! :O Dark Horse still gaining and above 200m..... maybe it could rebound @ no.2 next week or the following week since Happy starts getting huge negative updates. I think Not A Bad Thing will be the next radio no.1 before Sing takes over, then Birthday (highest update for 2 consecutive days)!!! I'm so happy about Ain't If Fun, probably one of my fave song from Paramore along with SIY but I think AIF will be their biggest hit and first top 10 in the present..... I'm so excited on the next happenings on the charts :) I'm loving it especially when Katy is Slaying!!!

It'll take both NABT and Sing just as long to bridge the gap though. If DH can stay consistent and Happy starts free falling, in a few weeks DH can return to #2.

Sing is very catchy, but not here for it to fly up the charts and sit there for 10 weeks.

I think Dark Horse will wind up being the #1 song of the year. Its funny how i mentioned that in January and people kept talking about happy. Well dark horse has to be the best handled accident of all time? A song that wasn't even meant to be a single smashes digitally, then on pop and rhythmic radio. Then the video is a smash right when it peaks on pop and they strategically release it to urban to balance out the negative updates in pop past peak to where the urban gains overtake the pop losses often. Its about to go top 10 on urban and will at least peak at #8 on urban radio. Such a mindblowin strategy to secure the top spot. Katy and team stays winning. If dark horse is punching so many out the game with #2 peaks and even her own singles (uncle deshawn Ali and burn day)...it better claim the top as the #1 song of 2014. Dark horse put in its work.
