A bit late to this party, but I just watched her Capitol (Capital? Capitol? You get it.) acoustic cover of Sam Smith's "I'm Not the Only One" and then "Ghost" and I'm absolutely sold on this girl. She's amazing. There's been so many new artists of the past few years being labeled as "unique" vocalists and it's driven me nuts because they're generally just a bunch of quirky folk girls with acoustic guitars that sing as if they're swallowing air and overexaggerating the syllables and vowels in each word. THIS girl is unique. She's got such an interesting falsetto that I really don't know how to describe, and that makes me happy. I really hope she does well. After the minimal impact Emeli SandΓ© had with her attempt at UK-to-US crossover success (still a damn shame), I'm really hoping something happens for Henderson's attempt at it.
Definitely going to go check out her album, and likely buy it afterwards. I really dig her.

I listened to the Target Deluxe version of Ella's album, and I must say that her voice is SO BEAUTIFUL and captivating! Every song is good. I actually had tears in my eyes at how well and beautifully her voice sounded. I have got to purchase the North America deluxe album as it has other tracks I want to hear. Her first album is definitely an A+ in my book.

The tracklisting for the North America editions of the album is so effing confusing. The UK Deluxe had every song... 21 songs with the acoustic EP on the end.
I feel like the US always get jipped.

She's definitely very talented and I like her tone. But I'm not sold on her just yet. I saw her performance of Ghost on The Voice and while I thought it was a solid performance I don't like that thing she does with her voice at the end of a note...that high head voice thingy. But other than that she's very good.
The chorus line "And at most, I'm sleeping all these demons away, but your ghost, the ghost of you it keeps me awake" sounds like a, I want to say, an 80's song? but I can't remember its name.

I just did the chart of every song from the UK Deluxe ( every song for the project ) versus all the North America editions. Discuss:
1. Ghost (all editions) 2. Empire (all editions) 3. Glow (all editions) 4. Yours (all editions) 5. Mirror Man (all editions) 6. Hard Work (all editions) 7. Pieces (track 8 on Target edition) 8. The First Time (not included on North America standard, Target edition, only included as track 9 on North America deluxe) 9. All Again (track 8 on North America standard, track 10 on Target & North America deluxe) 10. Give Your Heart Away (track 9 on North America standard & Target, track 11 on North America deluxe) 11. Rockets (track 10 on North America standard, Track 12 on Target & North America deluxe) 12. Lay Down (not included on North America standard or Target, track 13 on North America deluxe) 13. Missed (track 11 on North America standard, track 14 on Target & North America deluxe)
UK Deluxe Bonus Tracks 14. Bille Holiday (only included on UK Deluxe) 15. Beautifully Unfinished (not included on North America standard, Track 7 on Target edition, not included on North America deluxe) 16. 1996 (not included on North America standard, track 11 on Target, not included on North America deluxe) 17. Five Tattoos (not included on North America standard/Target editions, track 8 on North America deluxe) 18. Giants (not included on North America standard, Track 13 on Target edition, not included on North America deluxe)
Anybody as confused as I am?

It's interesting but yeah, she is a very solid artist and her album is a winner. I can't believe she placed that low on X-Factor or whatever show she came from. I never thought I would support one of those contestants because I refused to watch that terrible show.

Got the deluxe version in the mail today. "Billie Holiday" is amazing. Probably my favorite on the whole album. This girl is one hell of a talent, and this is one hell of a debut. "Ghost", "Glow", "Mirror Man", "Five Tattoos"...they're all incredible.
Stanning.

She ended up against another front-runner from that season, James Arthur (eventually, the winner). It was a shocking elimination at that time.

Hmmm...yeah, like I said...never watched X-Factor and never will. However, I will keep my ear out for talents like Ella. I wish the stores sold her deluxe because I feel I am missing out. Maybe I will buy the remaining songs from ITUNES.

Wow, I didn't know "Mirror Man" was going to be the next single. I like the song and all, but I was hoping for "Yours" to be released.
Oh, well, like I said, great song anyway, and I hope she sees more success because of it. Ella deserves it.

Oh! I thought that the music video of "Mirror Man" was unveiled and the one posted above is the BTS, despite it's not mentioned Wow, I didn't know "Mirror Man" was going to be the next single. I like the song and all, but I was hoping for "Yours" to be released. "Yours" was the third single from Chapter One, while "Mirror Man" is the fourth. I don't know if it's going to be the follow-up in the US though. Also, as a side note, looks like "Empire" is the current single in Australia because there are some radio stations that are playing the song there, but I haven't seen any official confirmation about this.

I'm a little late to the party with this girl, but yeah, what an amazing talent. 'Ghost' is probably my favorite song of the last year; her voice is just fantastic on it (I particularly love her ad-libs). The rest of her album is pretty great, too.
Are they releasing any other singles in the U.S.? I feel like 'Rockets' and/or 'Glow' could potentially do something.

So, after fully digesting the album and listening to her remix EPs, I feel like she definitely has a few more single possibilities- 'Glow', 'Rockets', 'Mirror Man', the Wideboys remix of 'Yours', and so on. I know 'Ghost' wasn't a huge hit, but I hope they don't just drop the ball with her here in the U.S. She has so much potential.

She was originally supposed to have an album out soon as she was preparing to release the first single in the first few months of 2018.

Syco seems to get it all wrong most of the time. Ella should have been much bigger than she was. "Ghost" was a huge hit internationally and it did reasonably well here. The followups just came and went.
I just hope Ella is able to get onto another label and release the album eventually.
