Expectations have definitely been exceeded. This is pretty good. Possibly slightly better than his self-titled album though there were far more songs I liked as radio singles on the first one (especially when the Encore tracks are included. Like Lady A, he should have broken it into two albums. Deluxe editions are really stupid.)
2. Wild Card/Storyline 3. Storyline/Wild Card 4. You Think You Know Somebody/Nothing Like Starting Over/Still Fallin' (that last one is probably most likely to be a fan favorite though I see myself tiring of it. 5. When Did You Stop Loving Me (please let this hit radio, please, please, please! Make my year! Best song he has recorded yet.)
There are at least three songs I like less than "Invisible" and two others which are about on par. That song has been a real grower for me even though it hasn't been good for radio. Singles 2, 3 and possibly 4 should certainly get him back on track.
I think 5 singles seems pretty realistic considering how short "Invisible"'s run has been, and my hope is that that 5th single is kind of thrown out there with the hope of reaching 10-15.

I don't see either song as a potential radio single but I really like "Nothing Like Starting Over" and "Secret Love". This album is great.

This album is incredible! Hunter definitely out did his debut album, which I still love to listen to! So many radio hits in waiting! It just begs to have the question asked..."Invisible" the first single?! So many more would had been better!

"You Think You Know Somebody" is one of the 4 early digital releases if you preorder from HH's website so perhaps that is more likely than "Still Fallin'" to be a single. Or even more likely both will be and I won't get my wish of "When Did You Stop Loving Me". I'll just keep that thought out of my head.
Oh, who am I kidding, that's definitely the next 4 singles (alongside WC and Storyline).

First listen and I like this album. I can definitely see the first two songs on the album, Wild Card and Storyline both being singles.

Hunter is at the age where all common sense would say he would be writing and singing Bro-Country themes, yet his works are beyond his years. On the other side, the Bro-Country artists are pushing 40 for the most part and should be singing the more artistic stuff, yet they sing songs like they are Hunter's age. Hunter is well advanced and most of the Country males are having a mid life Crisis. No wonder Country radio is going to hell in a hand basket cause of the older guys. Thank God for Hunter and the few artists like him (male and female) in their late teens and 20s who are showing the grown ups how it SHOULD be done!

I bought the album today, but have not yet listened. Regarding future singles, the album sticker lists "Invisible," "Wild Card," "Storyline," "Tattoo," and "Still Fallin'." I know that those listed are not always singles, but they usually provide an adequate indication of the direction of the era.

Thank God for Hunter and the few artists like him (male and female) in their late teens and 20s who are showing the grown ups how it SHOULD be done! Not necessary true. Did you know teen boppers have a shorten career. You never see a child star still making hits when they are 40. Ask Billy Gilman. I don't get all the hype for Hunter. He is extremely overrated. Before I make the next statement, keep in my mind I don't care about blurs in the country genre. But, I don't see how it's fair to knock "bro country" for not being "country" but Hunter is? Hunter is borderline pop, too. Whatever, though. None of my business. Billy Gilman? Wow... You can't compare someone who was a 1 hit wonder age 11 to someone who is 22 and first album was at 18/19. That isn't what I call Teenybopper. That is more of 14/16. And even at that age, Taylor Swift says hello! Hunter may not get to Taylor's level but he may get pretty damn close. His fanbase is still growing and the critics love him. I compare Hunter mostly to John Mayer who also started pretty young and is still going strong to today. And I didn't say one word about Hunter being Country. He is more Taylor/John than he is Brad/Sara, but, like it or not, Hunter is accepted by the Country genre who is playing Bro-Country. Again I just find it ironic that Hunter sings more adult themed music and the Bro-Artists sing more College themed music. If you actually listened to Hunter's new album you would understand the themes I'm talking about. The same themes that were prevalent in Country before Bro took over, stories and more artistic stuff...Steve Warnier/Vince Gill. Hunter is closer to them than he is most of other male artists in Country even being his sound isn't that Country at all. And calling Hunter a teenybopper based on his looks and age is very shallow and judging a book by a cover, which is never the best thing to do. Hunter has more "art" in his style than most of the Bro-Country men have in their pinkies!

I bought the album today, but have not yet listened. Same with me. Hopefully I'll be able to listen to it this weekend.

Hunter has more "art" in his style than most of the Bro-Country men have in their pinkies! I can't stand sappy love songs so I unfortunately won't be listening to this album. Well, his song "Wanted" made him sound like a whiny little teenager. Besides those two points, I appreciate your response. "Wanted" is about a man wanting to please his woman, there is no whiny teenager about that. In fact that song is no more of a sappy love song than "I Swear" "I Can Love You Like That" "Keeper of the Stars" "Lady" and I could go on. The world could use alot more sappy love in it's music rather than the trashy lyrics that is so prevalent today. I'll take "I want to make you feel wanted" over "Shaking her money maker" any day!

I like the album. I wouldn't say it's as good as his first one -- I don't find the melodies on this one quite as catchy or memorable -- but I do like it. Strong lyrics again (with one or two exceptions), an actual country sound on many of the songs, and not a tanned leg, dirt road, or beer in sight. :) Well done, Hunter!

I like this album a fair bit. I don't mind "Invisible", and I appreciate why he released it, but with all of the strong uptempos, I think he made the wrong choice in lead single. "Tattoo", "Storyline" or "Wild Card" would have been better to lead off with. Hopefully the slow rise/probable early peak of "Invisible" doesn't deter radio from adding future singles quickly. Any of those three would make a good choice for the second single. He also has some good slower tempo songs ("You Think You Know Somebody" and "When Did You Stop Loving Me") that would also work as future singles.
I think I slightly prefer his debut album right now, but this one is also quite good.

This album is fantastic. I've only listened to it a few times through since I got it a few days ago, but I am seriously impressed with the entire set. It's early to say this, but I think this record is overall a step-up from his debut album (which I also loved). They've got a lot of single options from this record, too. Just about every song could be a hit, imo. I also love that the record is a bit more uptempo as a whole, despite some of the ballads being among the best songs. It is a perfect companion for the car stereo. "Invisible" is still one of my favorites and I'm glad they put it out as the first single even if it was a little riskier. It was a risk worth taking though imo because it's a beautiful song and it sends a great message that needs to be heard.
The only thing I don't like is the interludes. I'd rather them have just been tacked onto the beginning/end of the tracks associated with them than cut up into shorter extra tracks. The music on the first one in particular is beautiful, but it just bothers me that it's a separate track.

I wish that there would had been Target or Walmart special edition with extra tracks. Maybe they will re-release it that way around Christmas. I'd sure buy it again for that! btw I saw on Amazon that in June "Encore" is being released on Vinyl! Already got that pre-ordered! I'm sure "Storyline" will too fairly soon. I love that Vinyl is coming back!

I wish it was longer as well, but I don't want to have to buy the album again, especially since they've already done that same tactic with his debut album. I'd be more than a little upset if they re-released this record and it would make me re-think buying his albums early.

Rereleasing albums is such a dirty trick, and really makes me reconsider buying albums from artists who do it.
