If Patsy Cline had taken Dottie West's offer to ride in the car with her back to Nashville from Kansas, instead of getting on the plane that crashed and took her life in 1963.
If Taylor Swift didn't remix any of her songs for pop radio, and was strictly a country artist.
If Dolly Parton never wrote "I Will Always Love You".
If country radio actually allowed more than 3 women to be on the charts at the same time.
If Mutt Lange never cheated on Shania Twain.

Kind of similar to the one about the plane crash that killed Reba's crew:
If Sugarland had been on stage when the roof collapsed at the Indiana State Fair.

If the Dixie Chicks had not replaced their original lead singer with Natalie Maines If Rascal Flatts had not released "I'm Movin' On" as a single If Joe Don Rooney had not been asked to fill in for Jay and Gary's then guitar player at one of their first gigs..thus creating Rascal Flatts If Kellie Pickler had won Idol instead of Carrie

If Rascal Flatts had not released "I'm Movin' On" as a single Is there a bigger story to this? Jay mentioned in an interview a few years back that they had not planned to release "I'm Movin' On" as a single originally; Gerry House played it one night because his wife loved the song. Just so happens it got a massive response and people kept asking Gerry to play it. When it caught on and people loved it, they decided to release it as a single.

I think he meant more along the lines of how different would things have been if "I'm Movin' On" HADN'T been a single? I kinda thought the same thing when I read it myself -- I don't think there would've been much difference if they'd released something else in its place since it wasn't some huge, monumental single for them like "What Hurts the Most" i.e.
