"Gore later earned an Academy Award nomination for best original song, for co-writing "Our Here On My Own" from Fame (with her brother Michael Gore)."

Billboard previously posted Rihanna's top 20 (link in the first post of this thread), but it now posted a top 10 (it's probably a little different than the previous top 10). Rihanna's Top 10 Billboard HitsAlso- P!nk's Top 20 was reposted, but nothing's changed for that one.

^Stronger weekly chart runs, for their respective era? :) (I know streaming slowed things down, so Billboard adjusts for that.)

^Stronger weekly chart runs, for their respective era? :) (I know streaming slowed things down, so Billboard adjusts for that.) I guessed they completely revamped their formula, because Live Your Life was #37 for the decade, while Umbrella was #57 for the decade, yet Umbrella is ranked above Live Your Life with the new formula. Definitely surprised with how high "The Monster" & "Stay" are, especially compared to "Love The Way You Lie" and "Live Your Life" which seemed way bigger.

Was that decade list based on an inverse point system, or for the total points a single had for each week on the Hot 100?

I just know that the advent of streaming caused a slight tweak in the weighting.

What about Fantasy by Mariah Carey? 8 weeks at #1. How is it below Love Takes Time and Vision of Love? It ranked #15 on the decade end chart! Did they use different formulas? I thought both charts used an inverse points system. Another thing to consider with Mariah is that some of her mid-90s singles runs were shortened by the delay of the commercial single. Her singles from Daydream and Butterfly had been on the airplay charts for weeks before debuting on the Hot 100. Under pre-Soundscan chart rules and current chart rules, those songs would have had more weeks on the Hot 100 and would be higher on all-time charts as a result. Of course, some other big artists also used a delay of a commercial single to their advantage and would fall into the same category.
