Blah what is keeping Happy at #2... "Happy" spends a fourth week at No. 1 on Streaming Songs (9.3 million, up 7 percent); stays at No. 2 on Radio Songs, which it led for eight weeks (145 million, down 11 percent); and holds at No. 3 on Digital Songs Read child.

Is there any word about "Not A Bad Thing" video . It's the only thing that's missing. The song should've been in the top 5 for about 2 weeks.

Yes "All Of Me", "Fancy", "Problem", and "Ain't It Fun"! I'm so glad the top ten is finally starting to change.

Not sure why BB mentions the On-Demand aspect, too, other than just supplying additional info for readers.

As Michael Jackson continues to move up and is still top 10 on itunes, a stat to watch:
Appearances as a lead singer in the top 10 in most different decades
1960's, 1970's, 1980's, 1990's, 2000's and perhaps one more

Is there a video already? I thought it was a teaser. I didn't even watched it because of so much talk but it ends with a "To be Continued" that's why I'm treating it as a teaser.

Because it's not really a video but to say that it did absolutely nothing for the song is an exaggeration. The song was barely top 20 on iTunes before it premiered and it has been in the top 10 or just outside the top 10 since. It would easily go top 5 on the Hot 100 with a proper video. Or a performance at the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday but I doubt he will attend even though he's going to sweep.

Yeah it might just be a coincidence that it was right around the time the video came out that the song got more recognition. Or maybe it was just because it was climbing fast in airplay that more people knew it and were inclined to buy it on iTunes. Its streaming barely increased upon the release of the video.

All justin has to do is get naked as a publicity stunt on a wrecking ball and he too could have a #1.

^What is part of On-Demand vs. the full streaming panel? I need a refresher. On-Demand encompases the sites that lets listeners choose what they want to play after subscribing to the service, such as Spotify. The Streaming Songs chart encompases all streaming componenets, so it has the On-Demand stats plus those of YouTube and passive streaming services that resemble the likes of Pandora. (Pandora isn't monitored but I can't for the life of me think of any services like Pandora that are monitored. Maybe Yahoo! Music or iTunes Radio?) It's also important to note that On-Demand streams are weighted slightly higher than non-On-Demand streams (lol all the hyphens). I believe too that if you have Spotify, but you are not a subscriber, than those streams are not counted. Only subscriber streams are counted. I think. The streaming component of the Hot 100 is definitely the most confusing, lol.

Spotify Top 50 8. Latch Disclosure 1,411,621 plays Look how popular it is! Top 10 on Spotify and Top 20 on iTunes with very minimal airplay exposure still... time to catch up damn it! But this is THE most impressive. No airplay at all, no promo, no nothing... how do casual music fans even know about this songs existence yet? This should-be song of summer better not go to waste

Iggy Azalea this week becomes only the second artist in the nearly 10-year history of the Hot Digital Songs chart to have the top two songs concurrently for two weeks. The Australian rapper, 23, achieves the feat as Ariana Grande's "Problem," on which she is featured, holds at #1 for the second week, and her own smash "Fancy" (featuring Charli XCX) holds at #2 for the second week. The only other artist to do this was the Black Eyed Peas, which held #1 and #2 for two weeks in June 2009 with "I Gotta Feeling" and "Boom Boom Pow."
Four other artists have had the top two songs on Hot Digital Songs concurrently since the chart was introduced in October 2004, but each did it for just one week. Those artists are Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Ke$ha and Taylor Swift. (As you can see, five of the six acts to have had the top two songs on Hot Digital Songs in the same week are female solo artists. The sixth is a mixed-gender group that prominently features a woman (Fergie). As Beyonce once sang, "Run The World (Girls).") Azalea's songs are in the reverse order on the Hot 100 (which combines digital sales, radio airplay and streaming). "Fancy" jumps from #4 to #3 in its 10th week, "Problem" dips from #3 to #4 in its second week.
John Legend's "All Of Me" tops the Hot 100 for the second week. It leads Pharrell Williams's "Happy" by a razor-thin margin of 0.1% in total chart points, an even smaller margin than last week, when it led by a little less than 1%. This is the closest margin between the #1 and #2 hits since February 2012, when Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) edged out Adele's "Set Fire To The Rain" by an even smaller margin in points.
"All Of Me" also holds at #1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for the second week. In addition, the smash this week becomes the fourth song to sell 3M copies in 2014. (The song sold an additional 445K copies in 2013.)
"Happy" holds at #2 on both charts for the second week. The song tops the 5 million mark in sales this week. It's Williams's second song to reach that plateau. Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines," on which he was featured, is up to 7,049,000. At the risk of being corny, Williams deserves credit for coming up with a song that made the whole world happy, if only for a few minutes. Williams's follow-up, "Come Get It Bae" (featuring an uncredited Miley Cyrus) enters the Hot 100 at #82. It's the second chart single from Williams' hit album, "G I R L."
Paramore lands its first top 10 hit as "Ain't It Fun" jumps from #13 to #10. Lead singer Hayley Williams reached #2 in June 2010 as featured artist on B.o.B's "Airplanes." Paramore first cracked the Hot 100 in July 2007 with "Misery Business." "Ain't It Fun" moves up to #1 on Hot Rock Songs, displacing Bastille's "Pompeii," which had led the chart for 12 weeks. "Ain't It Fun" is the second song that begins with the words "Ain't It" to reach the top 10 on the Hot 100. "Ain't It Funny" by Jennifer Lopez featuring Ja Rule hit #1 in March 2002. Another song titled "Ain't It Fun" appeared on Guns N' Roses's 1993 album "The Spaghetti Incident?"
Here's a recap of this week's top 10 songs.
The Top Five: John Legend's "All Of Me" holds at #1 for the second week in its 31st week on the chart. This is its 12th week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #4 (144K) … Pharrell Williams's "Happy" holds at #2 for the second week in its 19th week on the chart. This is its 15th week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #3 (156K) …"Fancy" by Iggy Azalea featuring Charli XCX jumps from #4 to #3 in its 10th week on the chart. This is its third week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #2 (216K) … "Problem" by Ariana Grande featuring Iggy Azalea dips from #3 to #4 in its second week on the chart. Digital sales rank: #1 (235K) … "Dark Horse" by Katy Perry featuring Juicy J holds at #5 for the second week in its 34th week on the chart. This is its 19th week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #17 (72K).
The Second Five: "Turn Down For What" by DJ Snake & Lil Jon rebounds from #7 to #6 in its 20th week on the chart. This is its seventh week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #5 (130K) … "Talk Dirty" by Jason Derulo featuring 2 Chainz dips from #6 to #7 in its 21st week on the chart. This is its 16th week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #10 (83K) … Justin Timberlake's "Not A Bad Thing" holds at #8 for the second week in its 11th week on the chart. This is its fourth week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #12 (75K) … Idina Menzel's "Let It Go" holds at #9 for the second week in its 24th week on the chart. This is its ninth week in the top 10. Digital sales rank: #16 (72K) … Paramore's "Ain't It Fun" jumps from #13 to #10 in its 11th week on the chart. It's the group's first top 10 hit. Digital sales rank: #13 (74K).
Bastille's "Pompeii" dips from #10 to #11, ending a 15-week run in the top 10. "Pompeii" tops the 2M mark in 2014 sales this week. The song sold an additional 808K copies in 2013.
Let's keep an eye on four songs that are already in the top 10 on Hot Digital Songs (but not yet on the Hot 100). "Love Never Felt So Good" by Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake jumps from #15 to #6 in its second week on that chart (101K). "Wiggle" by Jason Derulo featuring Snoop Dogg leaps from #36 to #7 in its third week (94K). "Am I Wrong" by Nico & Vinz jumps from #16 to #8 in its fifth week (93K). Coldplay's "A Sky Full Of Stars" drops from #5 to #9 in its second week (89K). Katy Perry's "Birthday" jumps from #29 to #25 in its fifth week on the Hot 100.
"Timber" by Pitbull featuring Ke$ha tops the 4 million mark in digital sales this week. It's Pitbull's fourth song to reach this plateau; Ke$ha's third. For Pitbull, it follows "Give Me Everything" (4,874,000) and two featured credits, Usher's "DJ Got Me Fallin' In Love" (4,198,000) and Enrique Iglesias's "I Like It" (4,081,000). For Ke$ha, it follows "TiK ToK" (6,668,000) and "We R Who We R" (4,047,000). Sales for "Timber" are almost evenly divided between 2013 (1,979,000) and 2014 (2,022,000).
Fergie's sensuous ballad "Big Girls Don't Cry" tops the 4 million mark in digital sales this week. It's her first solo hit to reach this milestone. Two of Fergie's hits with the Black Eyed Peas have topped the 4M mark. "Big Girls Don't Cry" topped the Hot 100 in September 2007 and received a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
Brantley Gilbert's "Bottoms Up" this week becomes the first country song to sell 1M copies in 2014. (It sold an additional 116K copies in 2013.) Among all songs, it's the 20th sell 1M copies in 2014. In two weeks, Gilbert's third studio album, "Just As I Am," will battle it out with Coldplay's "Ghost Stories" for #1.
Darius Rucker's first country hit, "Don't Think I Don't Think About You," tops the 1 million mark in digital sales this week. The song hit #1 on Hot Country Songs in October 2008.
. MKTO's "Classic," a top 30 hit, is one of my favorite current hits. The song includes a clever shout-out to four legendary soul men: "I wanna thrill ya like Michael/I wanna kiss ya like Prince/Let's get it on like Marvin Gaye/Like Hathaway/Write a song for you like this." Notice anything about that roster? Three of the four men died young and tragically. Michael Jackson died at 50 of drug-induced cardiac arrest. Marvin Gaye was shot to death at 44. Donny Hathaway committed suicide at 33. Only Prince, 55, is still going strong. Prince, you take care. To My Readers: I'll have a separate Chart Watch report on this week's key movers and debuts on the Hot 100 later today. I won't recap the top 10 in that second report. It will be fresh material.
