This may have been one of her weakest in terms of commercial success but I absolutley love this album. What I love most about it is how all the tracks feel like they're themed around the title of the album. Her songwriting with Mary Chapin Carpenter was amazing and her choices in outside material remain her strongest picks of her career imo. My favorite song is the title track as it's also my favorite song of all time. There's nothing I don't love about this album and it's a shame it's usually overlooked when discussing Terri's career.

All the classics are here: Forever And Ever, Amen, I Won't Need You Anymore Always & Forever, Too Gone Too Long, and I Told You So. Two others that should have been singles: What'll You Do About Me (love the Travis version over the others) and Tonight We're Gonna Tear Down The Walls. Traditional country at its finest!

Dixie Chicks "Home"
The harmonies, lyrics and production on this album are among the best I've ever heard. A divine album in every way. <3

George Strait - Pure Country Soundtrack
I like every song on the album and when I hear each one, it takes me to a particular place in the movie.

I'm going to go with three here. First, my current favorite country album. Second, one of my all time favorite albums. Third, a album I feel is underrated. Current Favorite: One of my all time favorites: Very underrated album that got picked on but is actually really, really good:

Literally the most perfect album in country music ever, imo. It is easily my favorite Sara Evans record in every way and I can listen to this start-to-finish anytime and it never ages with me. There are so many truly incredible songs on this album and I strongly like every single track, and it's a very cohesive album and a perfect companion for the car (it basically lives in my glove box and rarely leaves it). Her vocals, the production, the lyrics and song choice are all A+ for me. Other favorites, listed in alphabetic order because a subjective list would be impossible: Ashley Monroe - Like a RoseAshton Shepherd - Where Country GrowsThe Band Perry - PioneerCarrie Underwood - Some Hearts and Blown AwayChris Young - NeonDavid Nail - any of his three tbqh Deana Carter - Did I Shave My Legs for This?Dixie Chicks - Taking the Long WayDolly Parton - Backwoods BarbieThe JaneDear Girls - The JaneDear GirlsJessica Harp - A Woman NeedsJewel - Sweet and Wild and Perfectly ClearJo Dee Messina - Delicious SurpriseJoey + Rory - The Life of a Song and Album Number TwoJosh Turner - HaywireKellie Coffey - When You Lie Next to MeKellie Pickler - Small Town Girl, 100 Proof, and The Woman I AmLaura Bell Bundy - Achin' and Shakin'Lee Ann Womack - There's More Where That Came From and Call Me CrazyLittle Big Town - A Place to LandMaggie Rose - Cut to ImpressMiranda Lambert - all of em Reba McEntire - Keep on Loving YouSara Evans - all of em, though RFP is a cut above the rest Sugarland - Twice the Speed of LifeSunny Sweeney - ConcreteTaylor Swift - Taylor SwiftTerri Clark - Life Goes OnTrisha Yearwood - Jasper CountyThe Wreckers - Stand Still, Look Pretty

Big & Rich, Horse of a Different Color. I just love the energy and creativity put into it. Every song sounds fresh and different, there are no bad songs on it at all, and it's just a ton of fun all around.

Close your eyes for a minute and pretend that country music started with this album. Ready? As an avid fan, does anyone know where the photo shoot took place for his first album? Hint: he went back to the same place to do an album shoot for a fairly recent album.
