Banger right here. Beat gives off that N***as in Paris vibe.
The vocal layering is too much. Makes the whole song sound incoherent. And messy. Like damn Mimi, we know you produced your own vocals since before Gaga started wearing nappies, but lay off the multi layered harmonies will yah!
single number what it is this? 4?
Lord.

Judging from the title, I was expecting to be similar to "Obsessed". I like it.

You're thirsty for a dream, leaving me drowning. Boy there ain't no SOS, filled with discontent.
Mimi coming HORD with the lyrical fire this go round.

It sounded like "thirsty for a DRINK" to me. I was like REALLY?!! "Thirsty for a dream" sounds so much better.

The production sounds a lot like the Hitboy remix of Scream and Shout. Also, ***I'M RACIST***s in Paris. I like it.

Oh nooo... This is the wrong route. IDK why she is continuining to make songs like this. I don't see this going anywhere. She is so much better than this.

The melody saves the song from being too generic, it has that Mariah touch. I like this catchy song a lot. I hope it does well.

I think she means she's drowning in their relationship but isn't calling out for the guy to change (an SOS) because she's so unhappy that its beyond repair.

LOOOOL @ the drink pouring sound effect intro.
Anyway this is kind of.... perfect? I love how the undeniable club beat just melts into a Butterfly-esque hook. I love how Rich Homie Quan doesn't drown her out either; he seems like the guest here. Unlike "Triumphant" or to a lesser extent "#Beautiful" we KNOW this is definitely Mariah's home.
Anyway this is totally going to be "Migrate" Part II with the label's suppression already kicking into gear.

I was never thirsty in Paris. When I lived there, all I did was drink champagne and wine, daahhling. Also, this is not the first time Mariah has started a song with alcohol pouring (see: "It's A Wrap"). If she keeps the original backing to the song, there will be not one, but TWO boozy jams on the album! Pleeeease don't invoke the evil spirit of Migraine when discussing this ratchet classic. If the label were smart, they would listen to the hoodrats and let this song breathe and be the smash that it needs to be. I don't know who Rich Homie Chan is but I'm glad I can only find the CDQ of the solo version right now. I heard his version once on the crappy radio rip and have not heard it since.
