Luke Bryan.
Really enjoyed his earlier stuff (All My Friends Say, Country Man, We Rode in Trucks). Second album had some good tracks - Rain is a Good Thing, Drinking Beer and Wasting Bullets. Third album had the classic Country Girl (Shake It For Me). Then he had the string of popular ballads and the fourth album came and almost every single sounds the same - gooey schmaltz. As maligned as That's My Kind Of Night was, at least it was different and had a pulse. Crash My Party, Drink a Beer, and Play it Again sound like one and the same song to me.
I'm glad he's popular; but his music is losing me quick.

If she doesn't release a CD soon, it will be Shania Twain. Really, what's the hold up?

I'm glad he's popular; but his music is losing me quick. Who have you lost interest in? Taylor Swift. I know she wasn't ever "pure" country, but her first album was incredibly relatable since I'm the same age and went through the exact same emotions as she did in her songs. She also was the reason why I started listening to country exclusively, and I loved when she covered songs like "Run" from the George Strait ACM tribute TV concert and "Drive" from the Alan Jackson CMT tribute concert, it made me want to go back and discover those older songs. I know that she's always had pop elements in her music, but "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and her seemingly-overnight makeover that happened when she released "Red", really turned me off. I used to be a pop fan as a teenager, but now I'm into country full time, and I just don't want to hear that kind of stuff from Taylor. Also, Luke Bryan is definitely me for one as well, liked his first three albums because hey were solid and he seemed very genuine in his love for country music/country life. I loved his album cut "What Country Is" from "Doin' My Thing" and that kind of sound/storytelling in his songs, but from his spring break eps to "crash my party", to his collaboration with FGL on This is How We Roll, and his booty-shakin' routine during his concerts, seem to contradict his earlier work/persona and scream "sellout" to me. I know a lot of people that are into the "bro-country" type sound and worship Luke Bryan, so as a fan of more traditional-sounding country, maybe that is another reason I'm over him.

Lady A, after they released Need You Now here in the UK. They released a 'non-country' version of the song even though it hardly reeks of country to begin with. Same with Taylor and 'Love Story' and then she released the album 'Red'.

I agree on Luke Bryan. "Drink a Beer" was the best thing he's put out in years, and "Play It Again" is a total guilty pleasure, but he's become so much of a "bro" that it's getting hard to take anymore.
Also agree on Taylor Swift. Most of the first album was great (although I still think "Should've Said No" sounds way too bratty, even given her age at the time), but afterward, she mostly lost me unless she was doing a ballad. Songs like "Begin Again", "Ours", and especially "Back to December" seem to be the only ones that still hold me, because they're the ones where she seems the most real and involved lyrically. (I've actually deleted "Love Story" from my iTunes playlist, one of the only songs to have gotten that dishonor.) Every now and then, she does do something a little different that gets my attention, such as "Mean".

The only one I can apply this to with myself would be Jason Aldean.
Now, I think it would be too strong to say I'm over his music. After all I really enjoyed "Night Train", "Fly Over States", and "The Truth" (which might be my all-time favorite of his). But his first two albums were by far my favorites of his. I loved "Hicktown" from the first time I heard it. The first time I heard it was on CMT when it was in the 40's on the chart. About half-way through I remember thinking to myself, "Boy this sounds like a Big & Rich song". Sure enough when the credits came, the songwriters were Big Kenny, John Rich, and Vicki McGehee. I also loved "Why", "Amarillo Sky", "You're The Love I Wanna Be In", "She Loved Me" and really all of his debut album. Relentless was also a very good album and "Laughed Until We Cried" was fabulous along with the title track. After that he started to lose me and by the time that "Take A Little Ride" came out in 2012, I had totally lost interest in his music. I just found that song along with "When She Says Baby" too be average and generic. Again, "over" is a bit too strong but I certainly liked his music a whole lot more when he first came out.

Everyone in the genre I used to listen to except Ty Herndon. I still love his most recent CD, but my complete lack of interest in this genre as a whole (still surprised Lady A became so terrible after I discovered them years ago on Myspace) would allow me to say everyone but Ty.

"Wheelhouse" did my fan-ship in for Brad! I still like his early stuff though.

There a lot of artists whose music I considered to be amazing as a kid but now find less interesting now that I'm older and my tastes have changed. Toby Keith & Tim McGraw would be the biggest. I also used to be obsessed with Craig Morgan around 2006. I still think those guys have some good songs (and in McGraw's case, a few masterpieces) but I listen to them much less now than I did back then. Same is true of Brooks & Dunn and Garth Brooks, but to lesser extents.

Luke Bryan is mine as well. I think you need to look no further than this statistic. First album: Luke was co-writer on 10 of 11 tracks. Crash My Party: Luke was co-writer on 1 of 13 tracks. This whole thing just pisses me off to no end given that his first album was titled "I'll Stay Me" and it seems as though he is doing anything but. *sigh*
There are other artists who I used to like a lot more some time ago and not so much now, but I think it is more that my taste in music is changing a bit. I used to be pretty big into listening to pop music for a time and during that time I really liked Shania Twain. Nowadays I am gravitating back more toward traditional country that I grew up with and I hardly listen to Shania any more. I'm sure there are others that fit in here too if I thought it about it some more.
The Luke Bryan thing though just makes me mad or sad. Maybe a combination of both.

Wouldn't say I'm over Kenny Chesney but his older stuff puts his recent output to shame.

I hate to say it, but Faith Hill is my biggest one. I was absolutely obsessed with her back in the late 90's and early 00's. I was beyond excited when she released Fireflies in 2005, and it was all downhill very fast from there. Her greatest hits package was a huge letdown (so many big hits left off, the new songs weren't even good.) The Christmas cd was alright, but I was hoping for something a little better. After years of "Will she finally release a new album this year?" after supposedly recording so many songs she could have made several albums, still nothing. Then she finally came out with Come Home, which was a good song but terrible comeback single. When that failed to make the top 20 we got American Heart, which was a decent song but the damage from Come Home had already been done. Two or three years later, STILL no new album. So many years of supposedly having an album done just to scrap it and start over, I've just about given up. Plus the fact that her singles after the Fireflies era were not good for radio at all (though I did hear Red Umbrella on the radio last month...I couldn't believe it, then I remembered how terrible and random the lyrics were). I'm pretty much over it. If she ever releases anything again I'm sure I'll buy it, but my excitement for new music music from her is definitely gone. Though sometimes I listen to her older music and enjoy it greatly and wish we could have more stuff like that again.

A lot of artists do this for me, but out of the recent ones, Luke Bryan is the biggest for me. Jason Aldean a close second.

Wouldn't say I'm over him, but Chris Young's A.M. album was a huge step back for me. He was in my Top 3 for male artists along with Josh Turner and David Nail, but another sub-par album like that and I could lose interest altogether. When his last two records came out I played them to death, but I've barely touched his latest record because it pales in comparison to those that came before it.
Sugarland also started to lose me with Love on the Inside. The first two records were great, but that album was a bit hit-or-miss for me and just overall not nearly as good as the music that came before it imo. Then they put out The Incredible Machine and it was the final nail in that coffin.

Rascal Flatts:
I was a massive fan until about 2006, and I never really felt like they fully recovered in terms of quality after "Unstoppable" came out. I still enjoy their earlier songs, I have all their albums, etc, but in terms of being a fan, I can't say I love their music the way I used to.
Tim McGraw: I loved his earlier output, and it still never gets old for me. But his recent stuff (especially the awful single choices), have turned me off considerably.
Lady A: Their earlier stuff was great, Need You Now was also great for awhile. Now their sound has become tired and I feel like they've lost a lost of the personality and spark that they harnessed so incredibly well during their debut era.
I'd consider myself a casual fan of Luke and Chesney, but they've both almost completely lost me the last several years.
I enjoy Taylor Swift's Country material much better than her Pop side for the most part, so the direction she's taken the last several years isn't one I'm all that supportive of.
But unlike most of the other artists on this list, I think Taylor is the one who shows incredible growth along with a few missteps; she's the only one on this list who I can truly say I don't think has hit her stride yet and/or hasn't consistently delivered clunker after clunker. She's uneven with some great moments, while the rest appear to be well past their prime (s) in terms of artistic quality/growth.

Jason Aldean. I loved his earlier stuff like Amarillo Sky and Big Green Tractor, but he had to give in and sing bro country and country-rap. Ick!

Absolutely. And Lady A was fun for me in the beginning but then got very dull and uninteresting. Didn't help that both times I saw them live a couple of years ago when they were very hot, they put me to sleep after a few songs.
Brad is on the verge of being over, but I kinda like River Bank so we'll see.
Not a lost cause altogether but I also liked earlier Jake Owen way more than his recent radio stuff - Beachin' does nothing for me at all.
Can't think of any solo females off hand. Maybe because they are so few who stick around on the charts :|

Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, and Jason Aldean
-Excluding "Roller Coaster," Luke's material is absolutely unlistenable for me now. -Blake is an amazing vocalist that chooses the shittiest material to record & release. It's extremely aggravating because his voice sticks out amongst the rest of the male vocalists in Country today and yet he can't manage to record a genuinely fantastic song. I'd say that Based On A True Story... belongs in a recycling bin, but I'd hate to see something that bad get reused in some way. -Brad's past 2 albums have sucked. Not trying to sound super-fan-mode-ish, but had he not had Carrie Underwood to collaborate with on "Remind Me," his career would probably have sunk deeper than it is now. Excluding touring, he's become such a non-event nowadays. Radio pays him half the mind they used to, his sales are absolutely weak, and he's only got touring, the CMA co-hosting gig, and "Rising Star," which wil undoubtedly be over before we know it, judging by the ratings it received in its premiere episode. -Jason Aldean's just meh to me now, even though his most recent album was pretty great. Plus, his image is royally tainted for me because of being one huge trashbag.
If "Bartender" is any serious indication of Lady Antebellum's next album, then I'll be over them, too.

Definitely, Toby Keith & Tim McGraw: Maybe I've outgrown them... Still love the old stuff, though. Kenny Chesney: "Come Over" was great (minus the video) and "American Kids" is great (and unexpected). Give him another go. Rascal Flatts: Loved them from the beginning. They were fresh and exciting and starting into a country reality that was reshaping (in terms of sound and identity). Nowadays, I wonder whether they aren't better fit at home with Pop or AC. Undecided, they deserve another chance. Get a grip, guys. Lady A: Sparkling at first but turned into a big pop-bubblegum bladder. As mentioned somewhere else, the European pop-mixes did them no good. So, bye bye. Keith Urban: Mr. Kidman turned into a master of boredom who still gets gratituous airplay for no apparent reason; i.e. certainly not for creativity. A bummer. All of the above IMHO. No offence(s) intended.

I think I'm pretty much over Chris Young. I wanted to give him one more chance after A.M. but I'm Comin' Over might be even worse.
God, his new album is so generic. Songs like "Sunshine Overtime", "Alone Tonight", and "Heartbeat" feel so forced and calculated. Even his recent hits (except "Lonely Eyes") feel like they're calculated to become radio hits. "Aw Naw" and "Who I Am With You" seem like Chris was to take a subject and make it catchy and fluffy for country radio. "I'm Comin' Over" and "Think Of You" are better, I guess, but they still feel too poppy compared to what Chris used to exceed at.
It's a shame because Chris still has one of the best voices, if not the best voice in country music. Chris Young, The Man I Want To Be, and Neon are full of great modern-traditional country songs. I still have "Flowers", "Drinkin' Me Lonely", "Voices", "The Shoebox", "The Dashboard", "It Takes A Man", "The Man I Want To Be", "Gettin' You Home", "Tomorrow", and "Neon" consistently on my playlists. I wish Chris would get back to singing a lot more of these meaningful songs.
His last 2 albums have some good songs. "Lonely Eyes", "Goodbye", "Text Me Texas", "Sober Saturday Night", and "I Know A Guy" come to mind. But almost every other song on those albums feels meaningless and forgettable.

Chris Young & Easton Corbin
I lump these two together because, once upon a time, these guys were hailed as Neo-traditional country saviors when really, they haven't been anything close to that since AT LEAST 2011. Now they just bore me.
Jason Aldean
I honestly like his first 4 albums a lot, but ever since 2012 his personality and boring music have just really turned him against me.
Brett Eldredge
Hasn't had a good song since "Raymond"....Yeah that's about it.
There's probably more but these are the ones that stand out most for me.

Gloriana- I loved a lot of their singles but that last album of there's just sucked.
The Band Perry- Do I really have to explain. Here I'll use one word Pop-Tart. That's it. Also Put Me In The Game Coach is worst than anything Chase Rice, FGL, or Luke Bryan could have ever come up with.

Like many others here, I don't think Blake has put out a knockout of anything since 2008 and TBP....well, I don't have to go any further do I?

Blake Shelton (songs like Austin, The Baby, All Over Me were the best)
The Band Perry (recent output is garbage)
Jason Aldean (a lot of gems on his earlier albums Keep The Girl, Love Was Easy, No, Back in this cigarette, I break everything I touch, even if i wanted to, i believe in ghosts.. the list goes on and on)
sadly maybe Easton Corbin too , outside of a couple songs on his third album nothing excited me. I had his first album on repeat for months.
