Impacts August 5, according to AllAccess. Not a hot Sheryl Crow cover.

This is too generic for me. Which is really saying something considering my taste.

The first song that has ever made appreciate the artistry of Becky G.
So I wiki'd him (never heard of him before) and this song was released commercially in February of this year with his EP. Why wait so long to try to turn it into a thing?

I might disagree with you guys, but the chorus isn't even catchy, so yes, I'll pass on this as well!

He's always been this vane, shallow, and disposably catchy. Not sure how he could sell out when he had no artistic integrity in the first place. That said, he makes good music and I hope he gets a hit with this or something else. God knows his last album was chock full of smashes.

This is pure pop.

I Live High/Cure In My Cup/Let's Ride are all poppy melodic chorus driven earworms that had hardly any rapping off his old album that could easily have been hits had he had promotion. I view him as a poor man's Sam(my) Adams. The music isn't quite as good, but basically the exact same skill set/persona, no?

I've only heard a few songs from him and they were all rap, so that's where I was basing my statement from. He was under Hip Hop/Rap on iTunes also. Sammy Adams is miles better than this guy.

This is contrived garbage. Pretty much. It's a very safe track that anyone could have released but wouldn't actually do it. It feels like they took every cliche they could and put it into this song.

I just don't feel this song, but I quite like Vans On and Loud.

Sounds like 22. They're both in the same key and use similar chord progressions.

I liked his older material. I don't know what he was thinking with this.

All I hear during that second part of the chorus is:
Party and bullsh*t, and party and bullsh*t, and party and bullsh*t...

Looks like this got pulled - adds date removed from FMQB and no mention in this week's Columbia newsletter.
