10. KATY PERRY – Dark Horse: 93.512 (+0.895) What type of stations are increasing their plays of this? Ariana Grande, Iggy Azalea Top Pop, Rhythmic Songs Charts With 'Problem' Grande grabs her first No. 1 on each tally, while Azalea earns the honor of replacing herself at the top of each ranking "Problem" dethrones Azalea's "Fancy," featuring Charli XCX, after three and four weeks atop Pop Songs and Rhythmic Songs, respectively. On Pop Songs, Azalea becomes the just the third act to replace herself at No. 1 in the chart's 21-year history – and the first to do so with her first two chart entries. OutKast reigned in succession with "Hey Ya!" and "The Way You Move" (featuring Sleepy Brown) in 2003-04. Mariah Carey first switched out songs at the summit with "Fantasy" and "One Sweet Day" (with Boyz II Men) in 1995. (Honorable mention to Adam Levine: he reigned on Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger," featuring Christina Aguilera, and directly next as a featured soloist on Gym Class Heroes' "Stereo Hearts" in 2011.) Artists replacing themselves at No. 1 has been much more common on Rhythmic Songs, with featured billings (often with rappers) more a part of the format. Azalea is the 13th artist to so double up and the third solo female, following Rihanna (2010) and Carey (1995). One other all-female act has managed the feat: duo Salt-N-Pepa, which reigned back-to-back with "Shoop" and "Whatta Man," the latter featuring another all-female group, En Vogue, in 1993-94. One act even reigned with three successive No. 1s on Rhythmic Songs: 50 Cent. In 2005, he sandwiched featured turns on the Game's "How We Do" and "Hate It or Love It" around his own "Candy Shop," featuring Olivia. Mariah didn't replace herself with "WBT" and "SIO" at either format? What got in between?

Waking Up In Vegas re-entering the top 10, five years ago. It was such a bop, and so underrated. The music video was everything!

jeng- DHT's "Listen to Your Heart" was No. 1 for two weeks at Mainstream Top 40 before "Shake it Off" hit the top. On Rhythmic Top 40, Bow Wow's "Let Me Hold You" was No. 1 for five weeks before "Shake it Off" hit the top.

Wait a sec...posting airplay numbers is now a problem? It'd be weird if it is...since they've been posted here for a good three years religiously on a daily basis...

'Shake It Off' was #1 at Pop radio, but between it and 'We belong Together' there was 'Listen To Your Heart' by D.H.T. for 2 weeks. I don't know about Rhythmic.

Really Don't Care has had a lot of things working for it. From the music video's launch to Monday, it had about 5 million worldwide YouTube streams (We'll see if that actually represents the US much though), the 69 cent sale on iTunes sent it in the top 20 for a good bit, and the radio numbers seem healthy. Is this the prime opportunity for the song to make it to the top half of the chart?

I need "Rude" to slow down and "Stay With Me" to keep up its incredible pace.. It'll take a miracle for the latter to leapfrog the former, but I don't want "Rude" to kill what could possibly be a long streak of songs I actually like being at #1! (The record is 19 weeks, and I'm at 8 between "All of Me" and "Fancy")

www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/6143242/ed-sheerans-x-debuts-at-no-1-on-billboard-200-albums-chartOver on the Digital Songs chart, Sam Smith jumps three rungs to No. 1 with "Stay With Me." It sold 211,000 downloads in the week ending June 29, a gain of 42 percent. (The song's sales slide last week was owed to iTunes customers who opted to "complete" their purchase of Smith's album by upgrading their earlier purchases of "Stay" to the entire album. Effectively, consumers who completed the set were returning the song, thus translating to its sales slip.) Magic's "Rude" slips 1-2 with 210,000 (up less than 1 percent); Iggy Azalea's "Fancy," featuring Charli XCX, drops 2-3 with 178,000 (down 9 percent); and Ariana Grande's "Problem," featuring Azalea, descends 3-4 with 153,000 (down 6 percent). Newcomer Shawn Mendes arrives at No. 5 with his debut single, "Life of the Party," selling 148,000. A social network star (with 2.7 million followers on Vine and 1.2 million followers on Twitter), the 15-year-old singer signed to Island Records less than two months ago. Mendes earns the largest opening week for an act's debut single since the week ending May 27, 2012 when Phillip Phillips' "Home" bowed at No. 2 with 278,000. That was also the same week that Phillips won the 11th season of "American Idol" — he was crowned May 23. Nico & Vinz's "Am I Wrong" slides 5-6 with 147,000 (up 5 percent); Jason Derulo's "Wiggle," featuring Snoop Dogg, rises 8-7 with 120,000 (down 7 percent); and Maroon 5's "Maps" falls 6-8 with 104,000 (down 25 percent in its second week). Disclosure's "Latch," featuring Smith, climbs into the top 10 for the first time, rising 12-9 with 101,000 (up 10 percent). Charli XCX's "Boom Clap" closes out the region, holding at No. 10 with 99,000 (up 3 percent). Digital track sales this past week totaled 21.5 million downloads, up 2 percent compared with last week (21 million) and down 15 percent stacked next to the comparable week of 2013 (25.2 million). Year-to-date track sales are at 593.4 million, down 13 percent compared with the same total at this point last year (682.2 million).

I don't think I've ever listened to a Mariah Carey song all the way through, even as a kid I would turn the songs off because they'd bore me (We Belong Together especially I can't listen to)

At least Ariana will squeeze one week on top of Radio Songs. If the tracking week ended a few days later, I think she'd be stuck at #2 because of Am I Wrong.
