We had Brad last week and now Sara. All I need is next week is Gary Allan and I'm set.......hint, hint ;).
Top: 1. Backseat Of A Greyhound Bus (her best vocal performance and one of the best songs at country radio over the past 15 years). 2. Suds In The Bucket 3. Born To Fly 4. A Real Fine Place To Start 5. Saints and Angels (most underrated singe) 6. Perfect (overproduced, but one of the few times I don't care) 7. I Could Not Ask For More 8. As If 9. Cheatin' 10. Three Chords And The Truth 11. I Keep Looking 12. No Place That Far 13. A Little Bit Stronger 14. Cryin' Game 15. Coalmine
Album Tracks: 1. Missing Missouri (Trent Tomlinson magic anyone?) 2. Rockin' Horse 3. Supernatural (I seem to be alone in loving this one) 4. New Hometown 5. Why Should I Care 6. What That Drink Cost Me 7. Bible Song 8. Roll Me Back In Time 9. Life Without Losing 10. The Great Unknown
Bottom: 1. Tonight 2. You'll Always Be My Baby (don't hate these, but what I hold against them is that they never should have been singles. "Rockin' Horse" and "Missing Missouri" should have taken their place) 3. Some Things Never Change
That's it. Sorry about not following the rules. It's gonna be hard for me when we do Gary too. ;)

Funny how so far, most of us are in agreement on "You'll Always Be My Baby". I was under the impression that I was the only person who didn't care for that one.

Lol you know as I typed up my list of least favorites I had a feeling you'd be a little shocked at me not liking "Momma's Night Out". I'm relistening to it right now and I do like the production but for me it's a mismatch with Sara's vocals, it's similar to "Big Cry" in which I appreciate the experimentation but can't get behind the finished product. Thanks for liking the rest of my list though. Means a lot coming from a huge Sara fan like yourself. :)

I really love the swampy, jazzy feel to that song and the way everything feels like it's on full blast from her vocals to the production. "Big Cry" is on the other end of the spectrum for me though, as you can see from my list, lol. I just never could get into that song.

Oooh, my favorite topic!
It is going to be so hard to follow the rules but here goes:
1. A Little Bit Stronger - very autobiographical, beautiful vocal, awesome video and show stopping ACM performance
2. Saints and Angels - very understated vocal performance, perfect for the song. The single that got lost in her first big era
3. Backseat of a Greyhound Bus - I need her to go back and make a video for this please!
4. No Place That Far - the song that started it all
5. A Real Fine Place To Start - this is Sara just having a great time; perfect summer tune
Bottom 5:
1. Cryin' Game 2. Low 3. My Heart Can't Tell You No 4. Anywhere 5. Feels Like A Love Song

Favorites among others Suds in the Bucket Born to Fly You'll Always Be My Baby Stronger I Could Not Ask For More As If If I Run (album track from Slow Me Down)
Like Less (don't strongly dislike anything from Sara - my overall favorite female country artist) My Heart Can't Tell You No Ticket to Ride (album track from Stronger)
Dislike New Again, Christmas song with Brad Paisley - not the performances, I just don't like the setup with Sara singing in the voice of Mary, Brad as Jesus. It made my bottom 5 for Brad, so only fair it goes here too.

Top Five:
1. Saints & Angels 2. Backseat of a Greyhound Bus 3. A Little Bit Stronger 4. No Place That Far 5. Cryin' Game
I don't really have any strong dislikes from Sara, but I usually hit skip on "Suds In the Bucket" if only because it's overplayed. You could add "Coalmine" to the list of songs that should've never been released to radio.

I'm a fan of Sara, but am woefully unfamiliar with her discography, so not much in the way of album tracks or low-charting singles for me as of now:
TOP Cheatin' Born to Fly I Could Not Ask for More Suds in the Bucket Shame About That Backseat of a Greyhound Bus (completely forgot about this one) Three Chords and the Truth I Keep Looking No Place That Far Walk Out Backwards As If Perfect
BOTTOM 1. You'll Always Be My Baby (not unlistenable, but kind of a generic three act/multiple meaning chorus song)

I just did a one-man danger-zone type of thing to help me sort out a ranking of her singles. Sara is one of those artists for whom I love like 97% of their output and have trouble picking one favorite song over another. That being said, I think this is about as accurate of a ranking as I am capable of :) I always knew "You'll Always Be My Baby" was a least favorite, but I had no idea what else would be in my bottom 5... Also, my top 5 is a group of songs I consider to be perfect in almost every way; maybe even better than my top 5 Martina songs would be...
BOTTOM 5: (I still enjoy many of these... Lol) 28) You’ll Always Be My Baby 27) Some Things Never Change 26) Shame About That 25) True Lies 24) Perfect
Enjoy considerably: 23) Low 22) Three Chords And The Truth 21) Born To Fly 20) My Heart Can’t Tell You No 19) Backseat Of A Greyhound Bus 18) Feels Just Like A Love Song 17) Coalmine 16) I Keep Looking
Love: 15) Anywhere 14) Tonight 13) Suds In The Bucket
Love x2: 12) Fool, I’m A Woman 11) Cheatin’ 10) Put My Heart Down 9) Slow Me Down 8) Cryin’ Game 7) No Place That Far 6) As If
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!: 5) A Real Fine Place To Start 4) Love You With All My Heart 3) A Little Bit Stronger 2) I Could Not Ask For More 1) Saints & Angels

Even if Sara Evans isn't one of my favorites I can still do a Top 5/ Bottom 5.
Top 5 1. As If 2. Born To Fly 3. You'll Always Be My Baby 4. Perfect 5. Three Chords & The Truth
Bottom 5 1. A Little Bit Stronger (I get the appeal but I just wished there was a better production well written though) 2. Put My Heart Down (the annoying repeating drove me away from this one) 3. Suds In The Bucket (this is more on overplay especially recently) 4. A Real Fine Place To Start (yawn) 5. Cheatin' (sheeh Sara just get to the chorus already or was I the only one that felt like it took a while to get to the chorus)

5. Cheatin' (sheeh Sara just get to the chorus already or was I the only one that felt like it took a while to get to the chorus) This song doesn't have a chorus. It is one of those songs that just has a handful of descriptive verses, each ending with the hook of the song. Some other examples are "Wrong Again" by Martina McBride, "Flowers" by Chris Young, "Amarillo By Morning" by George Strait, "She Thinks His Name Was John" by Reba McEntire, etc. It is not a super common style to hear, but it is certainly far from unusual. And I would argue that "Cheatin'" is a perfect song for that particular style, because the verses are so descriptive and the hook is so humorous! I am just surprised that you would find this song boring due to it not having a chorus. I mean, the hook shows up in the second line of the song before the full band even comes in, which basically gives away the point of the song and sets the tone for exactly how the rest of the song is going to go. And it is well-written enough that the humorous descriptions of all the little ways she is getting revenge on her ex-lover who cheated on her are supposed to keep the listener engaged rather than relying on the repetitiveness of a chorus. Of course, to each his own. I am not trying to criticize your taste; I just wanted to clarify that this is a completely different style of song that purposely doesn't have a chorus, but then I ended up giving you my 2 cents too :)

Sorry .
