In honour of Canada day, I've created a thread to discuss your favorite songs by Canadian artist.
I'll post my list when I'm at a desktop.

I've saluted her earlier this year, but Anne Murray's Now And Forever You And Me from 1986.

Canadian International artist-Shania Twain. Also Terri Clark. Canadian artist who only stayed big in Canada-Adam Gregory...shame Big Machine dropped him so fast in the USA, he did get 2 top 40s in 2009 but US release of album was canceled. Loved his music from his early years when he started at 15 with "Horseshoes" in Canada. New Canadian artist-Mackenzie Porter-She could get big in the US if radio allowed her too! She's one of the best female voices in years anywhere! Other Canadian Country I really like-2nd place runner up on Canadian Idol at age 18 several years ago, Jaydee Bixby, who has had modest success there. I have all 3 of his albums. and Paul Brandt (For a short time he had some US hits). I like Amanda Wilkinson and her family too. I like Emerson Drive as well.

^ Another song I did in "Random Video Of The Day" thread. I did the actual music video too from Daily Motion if anybody wants to view it. ;)
It peaked at #3 on both R&R and Billboard in 1998. Amanda and Tyler are now a duo called the Small Town Pistols who have had a few singles in Canada and one of the artists I listed. Their new music is fantastic, especially "Colour Blind".

There's quite a few Canadians I like, but here's just a few
1. Shania Twain 2. Emerson Drive 3. Lisa Brokop 4. Paul Brandt 5. Anne Murray 6. Terri Clark 7. Michelle Wright 8. Carolyn Dawn Johnson 9. The Wilkinsons 10. Family Brown 11. Hank Snow 12. Patricia Conroy 13. Prairie Oyster 14. The Rankin Family 15. Hank Snow
As for some of the more recent ones there's Chad Brownlee (years ago he played for our city's hockey team, Idaho Steelheads), Autumn Hill, Kira Isabella and Lindsay Ell.

^ That top 10 was my childhood. "Don't Laugh At Me", "26 Cents", "True", "Where The Green Grass Grows" and "I'm Alright" were always on the radio when I was a little kid. Great memories.

"If I Had $1000000" by Barenaked Ladies so should've been sent to country.

Terri Clark, both back when she was most popular in the U.S. and some of her more recent things that I've heard/bought.
Never a big Shania fan.

Bobby Wills definitely deserves a mention. First, welcome to Pulse Music Board, sport2. Even if you registered half a year ago. For Pulse posters, Coco and Censor!

Shania Twain is probably my absolute favourite, but I also really like Terri Clark, Carolyn Dawn Johnson. Anne Murray, Farmer's Daughter, Michelle Wright, Paul Brandt, The Wilkinsons, Lisa Brokop, Chris Cummings, Adam Gregory and Patricia Conroy.
I haven't kept up with newer Canadian artists, since I've stopped listening to radio a few years ago, but those are some of my favourites.

Figured this would be the most appropriate place for this. The nominations for the Canadian Country Music Association Awards have been announced. :) Music Row

...bump. :)
This song went top 30 on the Canadian Country R&R chart in early 2006. Corb Lund and "Hair In My Eyes Like A Highland Steer" off his album of the same name.
