Pipa and Devin do you guys get a major "1901" by Phoenix vibe from Dear Rouge's "Best Look Lately"? I'm really starting to like it because of that, and I wasn't big on "I Heard I Had". I didn't hear it until you mentioned it, but now I do. It was more instant to me than "I Heard I Had", too.

Here's Billy Talent's new one:
It's good, but not as good as "Viking Death March" IMO. Thoughts?

"Viking Death March" was pretty fucking epic, so I didn't expect this to be better. But it is quite good!

Shame they only charted once. Both are awesome bands. I have many albums from both of them. Billy Talent is not as aggressive punk as Anti-Flag is though. I'd compare Billy Talent more to upbeat Green Day or Sum 41's albums after "All Killer No Filler."

Which Anti-Flag album would that be? Underground Network?

I don't like Sum 41 at all. I would think "We're All to Blame" would be up your alley. Lemme hear it first. Alright, that did not sound like the crap that I thought Sum 41 was. Too bad it kinda rips off Chop Suey. Good song. Not like the shitty "Fat Lip" and "In Too Deep".

Not like the s**tty "Fat Lip" and "In Too Deep". If you're concerned about ripoffs, don't listen to "The Bitter End". I'm shocked Metallica didn't sue them.

As for this new BT one, I think I like it more than "Viking Death March", solid return. It's no "Surprise Surprise" though, that was an epic single.
Hoping for top 10 on Canada-Alt and top 3 on Canada-Active.

I was going to say they never put out a good one, but then I heard "We're All to Blame". I could understand that the "All Killer No Filler" and "Underclass Hero" albums you might not like since they're mostly straight up pop-punk. Check out the "Does This Look Infected?" and "Chuck" albums. They experimented with some metal in those that make themselves sound freaking awesome.

So that new Alt station in Lethbridge played "Glad You Came" today. Their credibility just sunk down to zero.

Anyways, they're primarily a Gold station, they don't play any new songs unless they were mega-hits. The newest song they played today was "Use Somebody" ugh.
Sunday night is their new releases schedule, and even then they're guilty of playing The Dirty Heads and Bear Hands between Nothing More, Dream Theater and Judas Priest, ugh
