I think the TIHWD situation is like when Pretty Hurts showed up as 0.000... it was a confirmed single with no airplay! If this is the case, I'm very happy!!! Much better than Birthday!!! :)

Will "Dirt" fall enough on this week's chart for "American Kids" to take #1 on Hot Country Songs? Well "Dirt" is rising faster in airplay than "American Kids" but it's also falling a lot harder in sales...I guess it depends on streaming but it's a possibility (I would presume not very likely though as the gap in airplay is closing and "Dirt" is still selling more and the video gets more views so it is probably also higher on Streaming). I would say "Dirt" will fall to 18 on the Hot 100 and "American Kids" will rise to 22. (That's just a rough estimate, could be way off in fact) |

Uh Ohhhh! It seems like music is getting stale again and will need a shake up. I hate when that happens, especially in the middle of summer :| Finally some activity in this thread! I almost thought everyone died or something lol. No activity for like an entire day. I've started to care less about the actual music part of this forum, sad but true. Counting stars also gained on the Hot 100 last week. What kind of ridiculous longevity? Pretty good longevity, Radioactive and Sail's longevity are still much more impressive though. Finally some activity in this thread! I almost thought everyone died or something lol. No activity for like an entire day. That just goes to show you people's interest level in music right now. Music is getting stale. No competition is bad for business. This is very true. Could "Am I Wrong" and/or "Stay With Me" reach a new peak this week on the Hot 100? It'd be nice to see a shakeup in the top 5 (other than "Rude" reaching the top this past week) since it's been pretty stagnant since the end of June. I hope so. It's really sad that the top 5 are so stagnant. Pop is going to wind up being taken over by some other genre if its not careful. Everything at the top is starting to run together or maybe eliminating the radio component of the Hot 100 would spice things up?
