William Orbit posted this cryptic message on his facebook page: "ps, will have some BJS news for u all in a week or so" Bet my life that it's a new Alien remix. :kii: I did ask him a few hours ago if he is going to give us more Alien mixes. At this point, I will take anything he throws at us. I am thirsty for new Britney music, even if it's 936575 remixes of Alien. |

I'm literally so thirsty for some new Brit. After Britney Jean, I think they will REALLY try to pull out the stops, musically at least. I'm sure they know how the fans and the general public reacted to it and they will be sure to make this a more progressive album.
BTW, I was just rewatching Britney's interview on Saturday Online from the BJ era and the fact that she says she wanted "Early Mornin'" and "Touch of My Hand" as singles give me LIFE. She's obsessed with that damn album lol!

Her favorite albums are Blackout and In the Zone and it's not hard to see why. They were the two records that she was most involved in. Honestly though, Britney Jean probably applies too, but there were too many external factors that prevented the album from truly shining.
Just give her a budget and set her loose. She can make magic. I'm still upset she never followed through on her plans to start her own label.

One can argue that Blackout and In The Zone are her two best and by one i mean me. She needs to trust herself more and listen to others less,

I honestly don't know what to expect from her anymore as far as how much interested she is in her albums. I'm obviously talking about the quality of the music and not the promotional part since I've digested that she's not going to promote much a long time ago. Blackout is perfection and in 2007 that was shocking given the state of mind she was back then but looking at it now it's not that surprising; perhaps music was her way out of her problems back then so she gave it her all. Then came Circus which is by far her most label-driven album since Oops and for understandable reasons but even that had its moments of perfection. Femme Fatale is a perfectly produced and an absolute bright pop record. The singles especially are perhaps the best set any Britney album has ever had since they all had big choruses that showcased Brit's perfect pop voice. Britney Jean on the other hand lacked many of those elements the last half of her discography has had. It's no wonder that Brightest Morning Star (the only Dr. Luke produced track on the album) had the catchiest chorus, at least to me anw, so I guess that the reason it flopped was because she simply chose the wrong collaborators to work with.

I loved Britney Jean, but the marketing strategy was not there...AT ALL!!! And oh, If I recall correctly, he did not do any promotion (Facebook, Twitter, etc) for it or mentioned (interviews) the fact Britney even had an album called BJ. Planet Hollywood did 99.9% of the promo. Just my take on what could have been a #1 album for our Brit Brit!! I am bitter "Alien" nor "Til It's Gone" did not make the single's cut! Bye. FYI I'm lucky to be alive right now...I attended a Britney birthday party at a gay bar here in NYC Saturday night. It was ALL BRITNEY FOR FIVE HOURS. The set list (from what I can recall) included: Baby One More Time, Oops I Did It Again, Stronger, Satisfaction, Slave, Boys (twice  ), Overprotected, Lonely, Cinderella, I Love Rock n Roll, Toxic, Showdown, Boom Boom, Breathe on Me, My Prerogative, I've Just Begun Having My Fun, Gimme More, Piece of Me, Get Naked, Toy Soldier, Freakshow, Heaven on Earth, Radar, Circus, Womanizer, Shattered Glass, Mannequin, If U Seek Amy, 3, Hold It Against Me, Till the World Ends, I Wanna Go, Drop Dead Beautiful, Up n Down, Trouble for Me, Trip to Your Heart, Seal It with a Kiss, Work Bitch, Alien, Kiss You All Over, Chaotic, and Joy of Pepsi.
