I just love when people says GOSH MY OPINION and then rant when others voice their opinion. I cackle lol but right now just laughing at so many things I will just stay mum. Its not a crime to love Britney Jean but.....

It literally never fails. As frustrating as I usually find it, at least BJ will get some much deserved, currently lacking, respect.

It's all about approach and tact. That individual had a poor showing in both. No. It's about him having his own opinion, and then you two sitting there making fun of it. You can hate the album, but you don't put someone else down for having a different opinion than you. Don't come for me... He lashed out in a vulgar manner. This literally happens every Britney era. Britney fans for some reason love to hate the current era and have meltdowns about how terrible everything is. Then the next era comes and they all of a sudden gain a new respect for what they supposedly hated before. It's just a general observation, but I've seen it happen here with Blackout to Circus, then Circus to Femme Fatale, then Femme Fatale to Britney Jean. Now Blackout is one of the greatest pop records of all time, but then it was the end of her career and she was a walking zombie. Now Circus had such awesome promo and omg look at her dance. Back then it was can you believe that she can't dance anymore and why won't she promote. Now Femme Fatale is a perfectly produced and fun pop record, but then it was hollow and pandering to radio. |

Frankly I'm just getting incredibly... frustrated? That's the word. I'm frustrated that a negative opinion on an album of hers automatically means someone isn't a fan, or that the fact that a good majority of the fanbase doesn't enjoy it means the fanbase is trash. That's so incredibly condescending, and just a really shitty attitude that does nothing but further divide the fanbase. And for what, to justify that you like an album? Nobody cares if you like or don't like the album, but I get sick of these delusional posts that serve to explain away something that nobody is even questioning in the first place by putting down virtually everyone else who disagrees.
And those same people have the nerve to say her fanbase is the problem. Check yourselves.

Who's putting anyone down, besides the people making posts designed to be condescending and to make fun of the opinions of others? I personally made general comments about my observation of the fan-base in general. Others have made posts specifically designed to tear down the poster and their opinion. There is a clear difference.

The reason why people look fondly back on the previous album and/or era is b/c the current is worse by comparison. People being fond of an era in retrospect b/c the current one is such a downgrade is not a good thing. I definitely hope that people do not look fondly back on the BJ era in the way people have for the FF era or the Circus era b/c that would entail an era worse than the BJ. Her vocals sound so much better unedited, but you can tell it's a bad take. She's on key and whatnot, but she sounds sick. Probably why her vocals aren't on the final chorus or outro, or why the song wasn't used.

I don't think I've been fully satisfied with the single releases for a Britney era since Oops. I've never been 100% satisfied with single selection. They always seem to miss an obvious hit, or in the worst cases, several obvious hits.
