Soooooo many good songs in the above chart. Oh how pop radio has changed...
At least "Toxic" still slays.

I love Britney Spears because she is about making hits not running her ignorant mouth and trying to spark change through pop music which is about melody, hooks and fun moments. Her fans are great unlike other so called former pop acts and their fans but anyways more Britney less people who are full of themselves like a couple other former pop ladies.
Viva Britney, do ya thang girl! Vegas Queen! stripper pole queen, taco bell queen, one of the few who naturally not butt implants has a black girls ass, sweet personality queen! nobody on this god forsaken board will ever in my presence come for Britney Spears

Toxic is an all-time pop classic and I think it has eclipsed both BOMT and Oops in terms of impact. It's such an undeniable monster of a song and there's no guilty pleasure quality attached to it as the aforementioned songs so I think it really is her signature song although it's hard to pick one for her since she has so many classics.

So i was in my car with a friend of mine and Toxic came on the radio. My friend ignorantly said that this is the ONLY song he hates for Britney :O :O My reaction was just a huge slap on his face

I dont have guilty pleasure with any of her songs, just pleasure. Guilty pleasures are such a stupid thing too, just embrace what you like, who cares what other people think.

Wow, Britney actually seems excited talking about the song. I haven't seen that from her in awhile.

Everything about this era (except Iggy) looks really good so far. She's got a good ammount of hype around her right now. If they can keep that up and really nail the release, they'll have a hit.
My only burning question is this: who the hell is the executive producer? Hell, do we even know who she's recorded with? For them to be far enough along to already consider a release date for the lead single, you'd think we'd know a little more by now.

she seems so so happy and excited in that extra video, it's really amazing to see Britney in that condition The anticipation for the new single is sky high for me, let's hope there will be some promo this time (I'm pretty sure that Iggy will promote the hell out of this song even if she just sings her part on some shows )

I guess we probably won't ever get the real full story behind Britney Jean - how much she really loves, what songs she was really involved with - but I do genuinely think she likes Work Bitch and Perfume now, particularly the former. Being the crazy fan I am, I've watched clips from a good number of her Vegas shows, and you can see her get excited during it, cracking a smile at random points, etc. I think she knows it really resonated with her core fan base. That being said, I'm totally pumped for the new era. I just need there to be some real promo this time. I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't though.

Just one performance on a TV show would be amazing. With our luck though we'll probably get an animated music video, photos recycled from Britney Jean and exciting Twitter Q&A's.
Oh well, as long as the music's good again this time I'm on board.

Just watched Crossroads for the first time. What kind of improbable mess? I enjoyed it though, in all its campy glory.

I guess we probably won't ever get the real full story behind Britney Jean - how much she really loves, what songs she was really involved with - but I do genuinely think she likes Work Bitch and Perfume now, particularly the former. It was said on Pop Justice that some of the material that was submitted for BJ will, at least for now, make the upcoming album. I imagine they were set aside when it was decided that it wasn't going to be a good album and instead be used as a promo vehicle for the residency. So yeah, it's likely she doesn't care for most of what actually ended up making it, especially when she couldn't even be bothered to record what she needed to and they had to heavily rely on Myah Marie. I do think she likes WB and you can kind of tell that she likes Alien as well. It was never a single but performed in place of Perfume on multiple occasions and she did state she wanted it to be a single at some point. Also, according to a member on Pop Justice, the Iggy track is amazing and the Moroder track is better b/c it's more left field for Britney. If the track is amazing, I'll put up with Iggy (until a non-rap version becomes available). More VMA rehearsal footage:

In defense of Britney Jean, I don't think it was meant to be a bad album. It wouldn't make sense to release a horrible album to promote a massive residency meant to celebrate an even larger legacy. Most producers said the problem was that the label didn't want to pay the asking price for a lot of the songs-- which, I guess, would make the album worse by default. The problem wasn't that they wanted to release a bad album, but that it was all the label was willing to invest at the time and it wound up that way.
Anyway, I don't know if I necissarily mind that she's using a lot of Britney Jean demos since the few that leaked were phenomenal, but something about that is disappointing. I'm just going to assume that bit isn't true for my own sake.
