I feel like the Britney I fell in love with has been back in full force for about a year and some change now. The rest of the world just needs to recognize it and get on board.

Queen of live vocals, Mariah is shaking sounds like britney from her first album. i was a little surprised how good she sounded. the end was a little shaky though. |

It's a shame she doesn't do these headline grabbing things around album release time though...
Between this and the lip syncing throw down interview, the media coverage has been fantastic. Can we at least get a third Glory single or a one off to ride the wave??

I'm legit shocked that she sounded great for 70% of that Happy Birthday track. She sounded like s**t on X Factor 5 years ago, and this was after an hour of walking. Vocal rest my pet. |

I feel like the Britney I fell in love with has been back in full force for about a year and some change now. The rest of the world just needs to recognize it and get on board. Her current skills & all the award show stuff she's done in the past 1.5 years really would have been helpful in the '08-'11 era of her career. The lack of promo/social media presence and her general aura during that time probably killed a lot of the GP interest. Like, the "Slumber Party" video would have made far more impact during that time. |

However, she changes it. She could be looked at as not lazy because she changed it. However, the new routine is extremely boring and looks lazy. Oh, the conflict!!

I've always wanted to know what happened between her recovery in late 2008 and the release of "Femme Fatale" in 2011. While still a far cry from her golden days, "Circus" era Britney was more present, more natural, and had much better stage presence.
Something happened before "Femme Fatale". Some change in her treatment? A new medication? Even her body changed.
I guess we'll never know.

She was very bloated during the FF era (compared to super skinny during Circus), and the Circus era as a whole looking back had good performances and interviews, from promo to the tour. FF, not so much, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was a combo of maybe a change of meds & her just not feeling the FF era in terms of it all.

I really hope the estimated $25M she's going to make from the 10 asian dates inspires and motivates her like Vegas' success did in 2015. A world tour in US/Europe/Asia/S.America for B10 (celebrating her 20 year anniversary) in 2018 will be a great moment for her the way it was for Cher and Celine when they went back out on the road for a few years and came back and forth to Vegas. hopefully she pulls a Cher and promote it as her 'final' world tour when it either gets extended or there's another tour after it after the response from the fans. so many marketing potentials for B10 and the timing aligns perfectly to record more this year and release in 2018/9.  |
