Britney has had these dog for a while, I’m sure she would be made aware of any issues it had…? And if not, why wasn’t she informed? The other question is why she wasn’t informed about the dog’s condition or that they would be taken to the vet and not returned?
So much of this reeks of bullshit.

After her testimony, we’re actually going to give any weight to this story? From a staff member that was hired and paid by the conservatorship? Most housekeepers aren’t multimillionaires. A large sum of money could easily influence someone to create / and or escalate a situation to make headlines.
If Britney tried to grab the dog from her, and merely touched her, that’s assault. As we heard from her testimony, the people around her are calculated in their actions and know how to start fire when they need heat.
After 10+ years of being absent from any kind of fuckery like this, and now this conveniently occurs weeks after she blew up the parasites around her? Sure, Jan.

Wow. Her peaks are shocking? Having your first single hit #1 and second not even break top 20 - Pulse users would have been ordering the career tombstone. How the hell could she ever do a Super Bowl? Theres too many hits. Seeing all her singles listed like that, puts it even more in perspective.

I think her Hot 100 peaks during her first two eras are like that because they didn't release physical singles? Comparing Britney's first album single peaks to Christina's on the Hot 100 makes it look like Christina was the bigger artist at the time. Weird.

The first two eras had weird peaks because of them repressing or just not releasing singles to sell the album. "Stronger" actually did relatively poorly on radio, but sales helped it nearly go top 10, while "Sometimes" had no single but radio supported it enough for it to go top 30.
Era #3 had no radio support because she declined some sort of deal with Clear Channel for her tour, so they didn't play her.
Era #4 had more or less a fair deal, but digital downloads which would have pushed "Toxic" into top 5 at least were not counted for the Hot 100 back then. I think "Do Somethin'" was her first single to actually benefit from downloads, which is why it managed to enter the chart at all and "My Prerogative" didn't.
Xtina's team was more focused on single success back in the early 00s. It wasn't until "Circus" + Xtina starting to flop that fortunes reversed.

I think some elder gay ran the numbers and it’s been confirmed that “Toxic” would’ve been a multi-week number 1 had the digital downloads been counted. That song was basically what dissolved the Clear Channel boycott from demand alone. People were obsessed with it. Wow. Her peaks are shocking? Having your first single hit #1 and second not even break top 20 - Pulse users would have been ordering the career tombstone. How the hell could she ever do a Super Bowl? Theres too many hits. Seeing all her singles listed like that, puts it even more in perspective. The Super Bowl would basically have to be a megamix (think Chris Cox 202X) but cut the ballads because nobody is here for that at a halftime show. Baby, Oops, Slave, MATM (just to get Madonna on stage), Toxic, Gimme More (hot take but Piece of Me does not translate well to performances), Circus, the dance break from HIAM into TTWE, Work Bitch, and… I mean for Glory I’d frankly skip the singles and do an album cut since neither Make Me or Slumber Party feel like Super Bowl material, although I’m here for Tinashe getting that overdue exposure. Not sure what I’d put here. That covers all of her albums with signature hits, a high profile featue(s), and the producer can shuffle in references for the fans (throw in the “I like this part” from Break the Ice before cutting to the HIAM dance break, or have the Stop! remix “Stop” thrown in to quick cut from Oops to MATM right before people hear Madonna go “Hey, Britney” or Slave’s “I know I may be young…” she’s got options). All of that could fit comfortably into a halftime slot and it would still be a spectacle if only because Britney Spears did it, even if she wet fished the whole thing. Leaving people wanting more from the setlist is never a bad thing either and is just a testament to her star power. Would Britney even bother to do a halftime show at this point though? Probably not.

Leaving out WAY too many career songs. Stronger would be such a fantastic closer. That’s why I said, it’s challenging for someone that’s done so much, and has so many career songs.

I thought about Stronger but I’ll be honest, I think it’s a little too on the nose and I don’t want her career to be defined by her personal struggles.

It's wild that "Shattered Glass" outpeaked "Overprotected" and "Radar" on the Hot 100, despite "Glass" not being a single.

I remember when Circus came out and Shattered Glass of all songs went to the Top 10 on iTunes. I always wondered why that song out of all of them lmao. I dream though that the c-ship dissolves this year and then she gets asked to do the Super Bowl. Only if SHE was wanting to do it, but man what a "comeback" that would be.

1. "...Baby One More Time" 2. "Circus" 3. "I'm a Slave 4 U" / "Dirrty" medley ft. Xtina for the 00s nostalgia. 4. "Oops! I Did It Again" 5. "Gimme More" 6. "Toxic" 7. "Till the World Ends"
Easily a really strong SB show. I don't know if the NFL is on good terms with Madge after M.I.A. pulled that finger trick on her show. I guess you could switch one of the songs for "Scream and Shout" since it would get will.i.am and maybe the BEP on stage as guests and it's her last huge hit to date, but idk.

Yeah, TTWE definitely needs to be added. Would be chilling if she opened it with My Prerogative given the circumstances but that's just the stan in me lmao. I think Choco's list is mostly right. S&S would make sense as well since it was such a big hit with the GP, and it's possible they would slip out Womanizer for Circus but Circus feels more stadium worthy.

"Overprotected", "Stronger", "My Prerogative" and "Lucky" would be too in the nose I think. Britney Spears re-entering the music world with a song called "(You Drive Me) Crazy" would be a choice as well. I think she wants to move on from the mess as soon as possible. Not sure if the NFL would love a song like "Work Bitch" on their show either lol. I am giving this way too much of my time considering the odds of Brit doing the show are like 1%.

Yeah, WB is iffy but if they did "Work Work" I think it'd be worthy. It's also a great stadium song and big with the GP.

Looks like there's been changes to Britney's legal team:

Meanwhile... Womanizer has surpassed 300 million streams on Spotify. It's her 5th song to achieve this feat.

If Britney wants to return to the pop scene, I hope her next team doesn't do what the previous one did with her last releases. You have to create something eventful. Which doesn't mean more interviews (which Britney doesn't seem to be totally comfortable with anyway) or appearing on late night shows.
Maybe the example of Kanye West is not so bad: they are both pop icons. I think offering public listening sessions with Apple and a falsely improvised media plan is the best way to get people talking.

I feel like the Femme Fatale drop worked well. There was nothing but some whispers around the internet and then "Hold It Against Me" just dropped - I can't remember if it was song and video or just song - but it was the splashy impact with a solid song to have legs at radio.

HIAM had terrible longevity tho. It's "I Wanna Go" and more importantly "Till the World Ends" that gave that era legs at all.

Newly filed paperwork from Rosengart. Truly worth the read if you have the time. He counters and picks apart every argument and assertion Jamie and co. presented in their previous response. It is one big, beautiful dragging.

Unless I’m mistaken, Britney currently has the highest ratio of “yes” to “no” votes on the TIME 100, currently.
This is in part because of her fans brigading it, but it speaks volumes that her fanbase is significant enough to pull those numbers.
She is regrettably higher than the developers of the mRNA vaccines though, which I find kind of silly.
