although I will say there were parts where she was serving way more than the actual performance So she rehearsed the day before and the day of plus prior studio rehearsals and it was still bad. Something was up.

I’m happy for her but this is so fishy. He proposed just before Britney’s free and about to own her money. I know she’s not allowed to get married before but still, something is not right here. Hopefully she’ll get a prenup if they get married. But As long as long she is happy, i’m happy

I still think Sam isn't shady or with a secret agenda, he's been with her when there didn't seem to be any hope of her being free. Either way, after all she's been through with her family, I'd think she's smart enough to get that prenup.

I mean despite Sam being thirsty for his own career, he has been with Britney for 5 years now, even when it wasn't clear she was ever gonna be free. He seems to genuinely love her.

But that doesn't take away the fact that he's built his own career doing stuff that has had nothing to do with Britney, so props to him.

V. happy for her. I think Sam seems like a decent guy. I hope she gets to have another kid if she wants to as well. Queen deserves happiness.

She’ll get a prenup, relax. She had one with K-Fed. The only reason it got “compromised” was because of the c-ship and child support.
Anyway, good for her. Regardless, most important thing here is that she was given the right to choose to marry again, and frankly I trust her decision to do it. I stand by my earlier assessment that the only people mad about this are upset that they’re single, aging horribly, and are secretly jealous of her for getting a hot piece of ass they couldn’t get and can’t be. I ❤️ him.

Yea -- even if there is a part of him that enjoys the benefits to his career he gets as being "Britney Spears' boyfriend" at this point it seems like they really love each other and have a genuine relationship. It's kinda hard to picture them living happily ever after, but all the best to Brit always!!

Britney deleted her IG. Me too, Queen! She probably got sick of all the annoying comments or overanalyzation and wants to live her life off social media.

Isn't his ex doing that? ^ i thought they were still together? Either way it would likely be for both since they were together while he had access to Britney’s funds

Interesting that Bonnie McKee doesn’t mention The Bellamy Brothers when discussing HIAM.
Wasn’t there a lawsuit or something?

I remember most people thinking that Britney didn’t perform outside of Vegas because of the residency contract. But now it seems like she didn’t perform outside that controlled environment because her dad didn’t want others finding out how she was being treated.

BOMT and Toxic made Rolling Stone's latest "500 Best Songs of All Time" list:
Britney also made the Time Magazine's 2021 "100 Most Influential People" list:

I think it's a mix of both, these casinos want their money and the exclusivity so even if it wasn't their idea, I 100% they didn't give AF what Britney Jamie (I sometimes get confused who is BRITNEY, "I AM BRITNEY SPEARS" /s ) wanted... they just wanted a contract with Britney, Bitch... more money for everyone but the human being doing the actual work (bitch)...

Apparently the Netflix documentary IS real, and the trailer is coming out tomorrow. We shall see. What documentary? there’s been a heavily rumored Netflix documentary in the works based on certain producers and directors liking certain tweets about it, but nothing concrete. At this point I think they should just… stop? Unless Britney herself is willing to be a part of a documentary or have some say in it, the public already knows what they need to know. At a certain point it feels exploitative.

At a certain point it feels exploitative. I don’t think the public is aware of the extent of the evil. The Framing Britney Spears documentary was very surface level. The fact that this Netflix trailer is using the 2009 leaked audio makes me think this will be more cut-throat. I trust them to do a good job with this and keep spreading awareness The title is GENIUS. I guess my point is the public doesn't need to know that. I think the public would at this point if Britney wanted it to, but she hasn't shared that much, and we know enough to know the situation is f**ked. The Netflix doc allegedly goes into Tri Star and L*u Taylor, so that'll be... interesting. Or morbid. They're probably going to get sued with that good Christian money but I'm expecting a lot of "allegedly"s here. Really though, there's not much more awareness to be spread though. This story has gotten international attention and has had such a massive impact that the nature of the issue has entered Congressional discourse in the US. What more could you ask for? Most importantly, Britney already said she wants people, or documentaries rather, to give it a rest and was explicitly unhappy with the BBC (?) and NYT docs. She's engaged, she's about to go back to court for the Sep. hearing, and she's in the best place she's been in years. This isn't really necessary at this point.

I somewhat agree, but hasn’t this been in production since the start of the year? There were already rumors of it being near completion before we even had the bombshell hearing. Things escalated very quickly and for all we know she will be let out of the conservatorship next week and this documentary will be pointless, but they couldn’t have known that when they started making it, and at that time awareness was desperately needed to increase pressure on the justice system. Once she’s out of the conservatorship though, I will boycott any future documentaries (unless she gets $$$ from it) It's allegedly been in production since the NYT one was announced, so for a while now, but it was always going to come after NYT propelled #FreeBritney into the mainstream. I think that's where my frustration lies. While the NYT doc was very surface level, they took care in reporting what was mostly factual and not unfounded rumors, and said they'd go further if Britney wanted (and later she made it clear that she didn't); so for this so come out now, in September, feels a opportunistic more than anything. These aren't cheap to produce so I get it, but I would at least be courteous enough to get Britney's input on it.

You're giving this NYT documentary too much credit lol I'm excited this is in the hands of Netflix; hopefully they were able to nab people with significant contribution to this story.
