We should have got another album before a new Residency announcement. Or have them both go hand in hand. Not another "introspective, most personal album ever" ala Bradley Joan though. I'd even take a DJ collaboration at this point. |

I agree, but maybe team Britney decided against that given the blowback they got last time with fans complaining that the album was not promoted and was overshadowed by Vegas. Regardless of your feelings on the album, there was a lot of that feedback. I think it ended up as a great promotional tool for the show. We’ll have a better idea what they are thinking when the show starts. Do they take the time to pre-record vocals? Do they show fan-service in other ways like costumes, song choice, etc? And who knows, there’s certainly enough time to release an album/single prior to the opening week, or even right at opening week, especially if the material is already completed. |

Aside from the big fans, (and let's be honest, just the big fans that are rich because no broke bitch is gonna pay for another Vegas show so soon after Piece of Me), there's not that much demand for a new residency right now, so the ticket sales being slow ain't a huge shocker.
And let's be honest she's not at the top of her game dance-wise, so unless there's a huge overhaul of the whole thing, it's not gonna be anything new that we haven't seen before.
Throw a single out there to get the hype going at least!

She will never be the same since the mysterious knee “injury”. So there’s no point in stating she’s not at the top of her dance game because that’s never going to be a possibility again. Very unfortunate. As you said, she'll never again dance like she did at her peak, but she's still capable of being a great performer when she actually tries: the 2016 BBMAs performance is up there with her best, and she was pretty regularly killing it from 2015-17. She's just so inconsistent now, which was never an issue in her early years but has been one of her biggest problems in the last decade. I still can't believe, 20 years later, she's literally re-defined Pop music. She achieved all her dreams of becoming the next Madonna, having children at a young age, etc. I'm so happy to be a part of the ride and will continue to be forever.  Well said. I've loved this woman for almost 2/3 of my life, and still love her as much as I ever did. |

I don't think it's a terrible idea although Christina already did this. I am not a big Maroon 5 fan (except their first two albums) but you have to give them credit for maintaining credibility and longevity for close to twenty years despite how cheesy and sold out they sometimes get. Most rock bands never have continually success that long. They also have the number one song in the United States currently... |

If it feels authentic from both sides and we get some back and forth during the song between Adam and Brit, I'm here for it. Otherwise, if it sounds like it was just a potential single that was remixed to make it fresh like "GLY" was then no want.

When both of those songs came out I wanted to like them because of who they were ad I did love parts of each one. Then they both clicked for me shortly after release and by then radio was just about done with both of them. I think if radio hung on a bit and waited for more than just one set of callouts (if they even did) I think they could have done a lot better. They both appear to be fan favorites in concerts and I personally know a few people who feel exactly the way I do about both tracks. I don't remember if either did but if they did a couple of live performances in the very beginning of their runs that could have helped too. |
