Honestly this is all really tough to watch. As much as I'm team Britney I can't help but empathize (a tiny, tiny bit) with Jamie Lynn as she was raised (and likely traumatized) by the same awful parents, and I can't imagine growing up as Britney's less successful/attractive/wealthy/etc younger sister was no picnic either.

Having said that, it seems like everyone who's ever worked with JL has pretty terrible things to say about her, so she's clearly no martyr. I just wish some of this stuff would stay private, and tbh I HATE that people are threatening her family -- Britney's nieces certainly don't deserve that.

Part of the process of trauma is overcoming it. She's 30 and has been called out by enough people that she should at least be doubting her actions and asking herself if maybe she's in the wrong. Instead she's doubling down on her shit and trying to cash out with a book.

I'm just trying to understand why a publisher would approve a book (?!) or why people would buy it if not for the Britney connection.

Zoey 101 was Nickelodeon's biggest show then. Her pregnancy raised it's profile a lot but also got it cancelled.

It never translated into anything else. She was still just Brit's sister that got knocked up. She never had a career outside of that one show.

The book is getting publicity thanks to Britney. It will make money, although the backlash ensures it will mostly be the equivalent of hate watching.

A lot of people have suffered trauma and had deep rooted issues with family that is a license and valid excuse to have pain and issues that stem from that. However that is never an excuse to be a liar, manipulative and an all around asshole. That is just a character flaw. Jamie Lynn is just a insecure bitch and I BET that if she had no problems she would still be a bitch.

Britney is being a class act and extending olive branch to her sister. I can imagine not having a good family unit makes her yearn to cobble together the little she has but BRIT it's not healthy sis. Imo, it's obvious at this point that this isn't just a case of two sisters publicly fighting. This is a concerted effort on the part of Team Con to bait Britney into lashing out to push a certain narrative and Jamie Lynn is happily playing along. This whole situation further solidifies what we already know. Even though Britney is standing her ground, she's still showing love and trying to be the reasonable person in this whole situation. On the other hand, Jamie Lynn's reactions further show what a narcissist she is. It's obvious at this point that Britney's family are just delusional. They really see themselves as victims in this situation and think that they've treated Britney just fine. They really think that they are also key players and contribute to the "family business", when in reality, nobody would know nor care about them if it weren't for Britney.

Yeah, it's really rich for JL to pull the "everything on a public platform" when she's the one who started this by going on a media tour for her BOOK that is literally *about* Britney more than it is herself. She can miss me with that.

And yeah, the only thing that makes sense is that JL knows that a public "feud" with Britney will help herself and her book sales, so it's definitely a concerted effort to do all of this and hope Britney takes the bait.

It's just very jarring to know that JL is not just a shit sister like we thought she was, but she's borderline evil at this point with what she's doing and what's she said.

Ugh, at Oprah getting the interview. I get it - the Royals and Adele interviews were ratings winners, but y'all know half the interview will be about Oprah sharing her irrelevant life experiences, insights, etc. Just say NOprah!
