Btw, am I the only one who really doesn't want her to make a "comeback" with new music anytime soon? She just doesn't seem ready to me. I'd rather she wait until she's healed a bit and is able to put her all into it.

Has anyone noticed she just basically re-does the same 3 things over and over in a cycle for months straight?

Drag her family, post videos dancing in her living room, then goes on a trip to an island. Comes back and does the same 3 things on repeat.

The conservatorship was ended but it completely seems as if she is still controlled and on some type of set schedule by her team. The things she keeps doing and saying are very limited and keep being done over and over. She has not made any appearances, reconnected with past friends she was cut off from, or really ventured into any passions. It just seems like she still is confined to her living room and rants about her life then occasionally is allowed to go on a weekend trip to Hawaii.

Yeah, I am aware that anyone who doesn’t simply say “drag them Britney!!! Sis has had enough!!!” in reaction to every new social media post gets side eyed but half these fans were also the same ones who even glamorized her breakdown for years and would call it iconic so there’s clearly just some who like to encourage/romanticize anything done by her for the sake of seeming like a real fan. I don’t care to fit in that crowd.

What’s odd to me though isn’t even what she decides to post, but as I pointed out, it’s a very repetitive pattern. Like she still is controlled and only can do certain things in her daily life. She doesn’t use any other social media platforms, just Instagram, and it’s always in the same format with the same subjects. She also has never done IG Live or any type of actual interaction with fans directly. Whenever she would have a message for fans it’d be very general thanking them in a pre-recorded video. She also repeatedly says she reads her comment sections in her posts but has never replied or liked a comment ever. It seems very well like her life is still controlled.

I’ve come to terms at this point we will try never know what the hell goes on behind the scenes in Britney Spears life.

I think the point here is that everyone heals in their own different ways. Maybe she was so used to that "set" schedule of doing things that it's taking her a bit to get out of it.

She posted a really great caption about why she posts her dancing videos. Once again, she's not only extremely humble, but she makes it clear that she doesn't do them for us - she does them from her - and it just helps her feel better and is one of her forms of therapy.

That's why I get really defensive when people come after for stuff like this - she is healing publicly, sure, but let her heal in her own ways. If she wants to drag her family every week for the next year, and that helps her get thru and process the abuse, then let her.

I don’t think anything is wrong with the dancing videos; it’s clearly her favorite activity to do. It just seems like she hasn’t had much of an ability to do anything she was waiting to do once the conservatorship ended.

I also remember two months ago maybe, she made a post about how she was sick and she asked her bodyguard to buy her some medicine/pain reliever and he refused to and just stood outside her room. To me - that was a red alarm, it seems like she is still under strict control for some reason.

Like the conservatorship ended but she has still been strictly confined to either her house or a resort in which she isn’t around other people either. I just hope she has some group of friends she is actually talking to and has as support. It just seems like only Sam is her circle?

I think it might just take her some time. After 13 years, you're probably so used to it, that it's probably hard to jump right out of that. I could be totally off, but that seems to make the most sense to me - that it's gonna take a while for her to slowly get out of the typical schedule that she's been accustomed to for a decade+. And I would expect that - that it's going to take a good amount of time for her to realize she really CAN do whatever she wants.

I think that’s an objectively good analysis. I guess it is in a way similar to people who have been incarcerated for long periods still functioning as if they are incarcerated once free.

Exactly. I'm sure for her, it never felt like all of a sudden every window was now open when they were previously closed. It seems she's slowly inching back into the "Real world", going on vacations, spending her own money, drinking wine/alcohol when she couldn't before, etc. She's also probably very insecure with herself and I think she's said in posts before that it's scary for her to put herself out there again.

Yup I just came here to post about Laura Lynn. I remember seeing something in court documents saying that Laura Lynne bought some land that was owned by Britney and Britney ended up losing a lot of money due to it. I’m sure her dad was responsible for the sale but Britney could still feel betrayed.
