"Hold Me Closer" is the title of the remix of "Tiny Dancer". It will also have samples of other Elton John's songs, including his 1992 track "The One".

He has teamed up with the US superstar for a rendition of the 1971 tune, and I can reveal she tweaked the lyrics and offered to sing a new verse for the remix, which is due out later this month. The single, to be called "Hold Me Closer", will be her first ­single in six years. But it won't be a straight-forward cover of "Tiny Dancer", as it also features clever samples from other songs released by Elton, including his 1992 track "The One". The move mirrors that of Elton's hit single "Cold Heart" with Dua Lipa last summer, which gave him his first UK No1 in 16 years. The monster track featured elements of "Rocket Man", "Sacrifice" and "Kiss The Bride" as well as 1976 album track "Where's The Shoorah?".

Hold Me Closer is a much better song title and it's the best part of the original track.

On paper this sounds like it’s going to be a mess with too many moving parts, but on the other hand I’m excited to see exactly what this entails. Five songs built into a larger framework and an original verse is a lot lol

Kevin garbage aside, I do hope those boys are getting help and continue to do so. Being the kids of a hugely famous person must be perilous, let alone Britney fucking Spears. To find out the depths of the abuse your mom endured and watching her do whatever it is she’s been doing in the aftermath would almost certainly be a mindfuck. Calling them brats (or far worse on twitter) is not a good look.

I’m sorry but I don’t understand why it would ever feel necessary to publicly go on social media as a celebrity and villainize/paint your underage kids in a bad picture. No matter how upset or hurt you are with them at the moment. She has millions of fans and some are delusional and crazy, I can’t wrap my head around putting your own kids in that line of fire.

There is some stuff that definitely isn’t meant for social media. I know her fans have had the “we don’t know what she’s been through let her vent as much as she wants!” motto but it’s definitely past anything healthy or logical at this point. Bringing up her kids doing weed allegedly is also beyond bizarre.

Also there’s two sides to every story, and perhaps she had behavior or actions infront of the kids that made them not want to be around her momentarily. So it’s especially weird she has put her own kids in a position where she tells just her side and now they look bad. Kevin going to the media was a mess and started this but any public statements should’ve stayed directed at just him.

I don’t think she was alleging that they do weed. But that Kevin does it around them when he’s acting like the better/perfect parent.

Kevin also just posted videos of Britney arguing with her sons while she was under the c-ship as some sort of “gotcha!” moment. I didn’t think he could stoop any lower but here we are.

The videos are also a nothing burger and not giving what he thought they were gonna give. A mom wanting respect from her sons and disciplining them by taking their phone away that she pays for. What’s the issue?.

Damn… I just can't imagine how exhausting it must be for Britney to wake up and almost every day feel she has to 'clear her name' because another leech from the Spears/Federline clan is debating her motherhood, sanity or rights as a woman. I mean, posting the videos wanting to expose and embarrass the mother of your children… so gross.

Kevin stooped incredibly low by posting those videos (that were filmed by the kids BTW) publicly on social media.

Britney's earlier response was more heartbreaking than anything, and nowhere in there did she imply the kids were doing weed. From what I got from it, she was speaking to how heartbreaking it was as a mother when your children act that way towards you, but giving them some leeway since they are teenagers after all.

You could argue that it shouldn't be aired publicly but also, given Kevin's interview and subsequent videos, did Britney really have a choice? She probably felt she needed to clear the air somehow and give this thing context.

And yet some people in here are somehow blaming Britney for this and acting as if she is the problem. Incredible.

Essentially everyone in Britney's life, aside from Sam, is literally gunning for her to fail, and trying to make as public as possible. Imagine being in her shoes after everything she's gone through. The total lack of empathy for her position from some people is astounding.
