Sign of the times: She is FINALLY getting multiformat songs: Pop, HOt AC, AC.
For her future songs if she adds Rhythmic back then we are good to go on radio.

It was interesting to hear Britney’s side of things, I want to hear more; she should definitely do a pod cast. im pretty sure that she was reading something, probably a portion of her book (even if it was not the final draft). Would not be surprised if she pulls a Mariah and narrates her own AudioBook. Yeah the way this was cobbled together with a bunch of different edits, I wonder if some of it was from book recordings. |

I can see why she'd rather post some of her story directly online and also only do a memoir. The media has not been kind to her throughout most of her career.

Makes me sad hearing what she went through. It all makes sense though, she looked quite sad in the eyes for quite a while, and I know that’s due the medication and her feeling trapped. My god. Thank the heavens for the free Britney movement and her lawyer.
Edit: Didnt she sign a book deal?

I don’t think that was from a book, but she was definitely reading something. She probably just scripted it. Doubtful she’d release one anyway based on what she said about not wanting to be paid to tell her story.
I think she’s more or less said her peace on the matter and wants to move on, and I don’t blame her. She’s been too brave and too strong for too long, and she’s still such a kind soul. There’s so much light in her and I hope she realizes that again.

This collaboration w/ Elton John was a godsend. Not only did Britney have the best day of her career in terms of streaming on Spotify for the launch of "Hold me closer", but it also opened the doors to 'adult' radio (HOT AC and AA, two formats that were previously reluctant to support her). It's a single that is both modern and heritage. Which looks like her. Well done.

I read that Dailymail article, which is a preview for the Australia interview and honestly it's infuriating.
I can't imagine being trafficked for 13+ years, then being locked up in a facility where you are drugged and have no rights because you refuse to line your slavers pockets, only to then have your kids sell you out like that. They were likely the very reason she worked as hard as she did from 2008 - 2016 to be close to them.
Just no words.
I hope she finds a way to be happy. But everything we find out about her family seems to show it's Atlas up a steep incline.

Glad she's taking back the narrative. Completely at a loss for what Jayden's next steps are after this.
If she ever wants to do solo music again, I hope she does a vocal tour-de force first single sort of like Kesha's Praying, that's left field and is a complete game changer for her sound and reputation. If she were to ever record another album the title 'Free' should be it. It would represent so much for her moving forward. A true next phase of her life.
